Mazda 5 Break light switch. Won't shift out of Park. 

2010 Mazda 3, i broke my fingernail trying to move that damn bracket into place, you saved me so much pain fixing my car, thank you sir!

I have a 2011 Mazda 3...bought a stop light switch. Watched several installation videos. Could not install it (black and blue not lined up). EVERY installation video I watched never mentioned lining up the black with the blue tabs. THANKS SO VERY MUCH for sharing!!! So easy when you have all the information.

I know this is an old video....but thank you so much for posting this!!! Couldn't figure out why I couldn't install it.

Helped, thanks. Fixed brake light issue about 10 minutes to swap out

To remove the switch rotate it in the bracket then it can slide out of the hole. I found it rather easy to look in the hole under the steering column and use a 16" flat screwdriver in one hand then reach in with the left hand to grab the switch and pop the connector off. Much easier that trying to get 2 hands up under there. Was only $26 at the dealer, to make sure it's a factory genuine part. 2016 CX-5 was # BN7N-66-490A

I have a 2018 cx-5, dsc ligth and (P!) Lights are activate and i have note that autohold doesn't work, do you think is same problem
