Mazda RX-8 Engine sound 

oddly enough, revving the balls of an RX-8 keeps it in good health.

Yup the Ford Shelby GT500 is 15 city, 24MPG hwy, pretty good for 600+HP, whereas the RX8 is 18/22MPG I believe and 250HP

Rotary are meant to be revved high...

That's over reving to you? this is a rotary engine, which means it will take MUCH higher revs than that. This engine will actually take 13000+, but the transmission can't handle it.

I love the high rev sound of these engines but its just horrible for the size of these engines how much gas they use. Theirs cars with twice the power that get better mileage. Hell 600HP viper gets 20+ highway.

The Shelby also weighs twenty thousand pounds.
