I had a 2010 Mazda 3. I loved that car. I put over 150k miles on it and it still ran like new when I sold it. Great car highly recommend.

I had a 1996 Protege, put 140K miles on it and sold it in perfect condition. Then a 2006 Mazda 3 that went through 2 of my kids until the last one totaled it at 130K miles. I'm currently driving a 2018 Mazda 3. They're so easy to own.

I had a 2011 mazdaspeed3 that I loved. Traded it for a WRX. Both were great cars. Now the wife and I only have a Subaru Crosstrek. Insurance just went us too much to justify having two cars when we really only need one.

Still have my 2016 Mazda 3 with 200,000 plus miles on it still good on the transmission with a minor gasket leak but I never changed it until now 😂

My 2012 Mazda 6 has breeched 200K and still going strong. My 2004 Maxda 6 has had losts of minior repairs but finally lost its transmission at 350K. Mazda id where the smart money is, ---Just my two cents.

I’ve got a 2021 CPO with 12k miles. Literally mint condition. I do have the AWD turbo hatchback and one issue that is related to recall. Getting a low oil warning that is related to valve stem seals.. gonna get that addressed soon.

The Mazda Skyactiv-G 2.5 liter naturally aspirated version with cylinder activation had oil leak issues in years 2018-2023. The turboversion of the 2.5l had head gasket failure issues in years 2016-2020.

Recapped tires are ok when a new tire cost $700, I've used caps on my truck, just stay on top of tire pressures and they'll be fine.

I covet the hatchback NA manual (Front WD) version of this car. Mazda's made it so you have to buy the highest trim level ("Premium") to get a manual. "That grinds my gears."

Had an 82 280zx non-turbo. They came out with the turbo the following year and my friend who sold Nissans tried to get me to trade mine in. I declined and drove mine for 14 years and 225k miles and it was still running good. Those '83 turbos started disappearing from the road after about 5-6 years.

I bought mazda 6GH 2010 German market, 2.5/170PS, non turbo, make new TUV with no problem, today have 200kkm, with no fuckin problemos ;) , no oil delution, yransmision manual ok, AC still blows ;))) I offten make long distance 1200km with no problem

Based on your previous recommendations and other RU-vidrs and other research, when we had to replace our two vehicles ( one with a bad CVT trannie) Within 6 months we were able to find a 2016 CX5 Grand Touring with 78k miles and a 2015 CX5 GT with 55k miles, both 1 owners with great carfax. 2 cars for less than the price of a new one. Can’t say enough about how great they are. Looking forward to them for at least 100k miles more! 🤞

I have a 2017 2.5 Mazda 3 hatchback. It has 120,000 miles. It did just recently get carbon build up which cost me $2000 to fix as the fuel injectors needed replacing, that and a belt tensioner bearing.

I have a 2023 Maverick 2 liter with AWD, FX4 and a turbo. I get 22 in town and 32 easy on the Hwy. I have gotten 35 when going 65 behind an 18 wheeler.

I've a 2021 Mazda 3 and it's an absolute gem. Got it brand new, has about 55000 miles now. But everything works perfectly fine. Still has original brake pads, tires, transmission fluid. Great gas mileage, I'm getting 38-39 mpg overall. A lot of features for the price. It's an absolute steal

I have a 2014 Mazda3 with the smaller, 2.0 liter engine. 92k miles and no real issues. Just brakes and shocks and things like that. I get from 42-44 mpg on the highway if I'm conservative. Usually around 32 in mixed driving.

I wish Mazda would go back to REAL MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS. The only car in a manual these days is a Subaru WRX, but Boxer engines rattle headder bolts. Up-down in-line is better than Boxer. In Australia, Mazda used to sell the SP Range MADE IN JAPAN in sedans & coupe's. Sadly, these days the SP range comes as automatic & that BlueMotion engine-stop when you touch the brakes. So hard to find a sedan, everything now is a GROCERY-GETTER SUV & I can't stand SUVs. Only manual I can get is a WRX & if I get the BRZ the thing has no power. So, hard to find a fun car these days, all autos & hard to find a manual.

Scotty hybrid have paid for themselves by 150,000 miles . Yes indeed your cost to own especially a Prius is a dream Think about it 2.5 times the miles per gallon. @ $4.00 per gallon @18 mpg each mile costs .20 cents. Vs .4 cents in the Prius . I have owned Hybrids for ages and live every moment .I not had any transmission problems all had cvt trannies.

Got a 2024 hatchy but i got the turbo. Worth it. Gas mileage isn't that great I get a 28 mpg average and yes I know it's gonna break little faster. But gosh darnit I'm here for a good time not a long time. Let me enjoy a 6 sec 0-60 zoom zoom.

Toyota and Honda are producing cars with CVT Drivetrains. The best choice for Hybrids and Electric motors for flat torque curve. Will be interesting in a decade where fuel cell tech will go. I guess they shrug off Kilmer rhetoric.

I will be considering Mazda in the near future. My last 3 vehicles were Toyotas and I loved them, never a problem. Unfortunately, no Toyota dealerships have any inventory. If you want one, you have to do it before the car is even delivered to the dealer. I want to see and compare cars before I make a decision. Therefore, it will probably be a Mazda.

Mazda at crazy level sales now. Dealer lots are full and they're happy to sell them to you at a discount. I don't even own a Mazda but they were easily my second choice after Honda/Acura. Toyota is a joke nowadays with their pricing. We're back to getting sub MSRP pricing, but people are still paying MSRP for Toyotas and Toyota dealers are happy to oblige.

When I was on holiday in Florida the lorry on the opposite side of the road had a blow out ? The wheel came towards our hire car bounced just in front and flew over us , missing us by inches. I was like wow as I could not break as it happend so fast ?

I agree with Scotty. Unless you have 3 children or more, you need something big to pull your toys. (Boats, ATV’s, campers, etc), or you run a business that requires something big like an SUV, you DON’T need an SUV. Get a sedan if you don’t have the criteria above. Stop bringing the prices up and stop wrecking it for the people who truly need an SUV, this is a different between WANT and NEED.

I've never bought a brand new vehicle and if I did I would expect 10 miles of worry-free driving for every dollar spent and this one may give it a better chance than most other choices.

Looks like it has 6-speed transmission. Is this the old Toyota transmission that lasted forever? It gave me a bad feeling when you said they teamed up with Toyota. I thought Mazda might have used that crappy 8-speed Toyota is having so many problems with. I'm hoping Mazda brings back the larger 6 series. I'm still hoping a Japanese company, besides American made Toyota junk, will put something out that compares to a Camry.

I have a 2014 fod focus (piece of junk) a 2007 ford edge and a 2016 mazda mx5 and the mazda is awesome. Yes, an SUV 😆 I do need one with 2 boys and being a soccer coach. I can also put about 4 pallets and other stuff in my ford edge if needed, and i do! Mazda makes an incredible vehicle

I test drive the Mazda 3 Hatchback and Toyota Corolla hatchback and we end up buying the Corolla bcoz of better miles per gallon, Better suspension, Better Infotainment system and reliability. And of course Corolla is $3K less.
