I've been a mechanic for 56 years and I'm here to share my knowledge with you! New car stuff every day. The most watched car channel in America. Never any sponsored content, just the truth!

I've been driving Ford pickups all my life, (been driving for 60 years...) and I have a 2016 F-150 with 135K miles. It has the 2.7 liter twin turbo Ecoboost, and it's the best engine I've ever owned. Have pulled a 19' foot boat to Canada twice and you can barely tell it's behind you. Got 16-17 mpg pulling the boat, and get 24 mpg on the highway without it. It's been the most bullet-proof truck I've ever owned. Use synthetic oil and change every 10K myself.
American companies build crap and men have become feminine...we want staion wagons that sit up a little. And boats still, look at all the big long pick-ups. Guys these days dont know what a p-wagon even is in 2024
The days of office workers sending emails back and forth to each other making useless useless opinion comments are over. Mass layoffs of non essential employees (mostly Management) are coming. Elon is at the cutting edge.
With Mexico I agree there is always room for improvement in quality. For instance, making cars rust resistant like Toyotas. Making important parts like in the EV example above more durable, perhaps billet or if necessary, titanium. Yes, even a few, key incremental changes like this can make a huge difference overall.
Elon is attempting to fire 10% of his staff to pay his "wishful thinking" 50 billion dollar raise. Well, he isn't getting it, no matter how much his fat useless CEO begs for it. Now the only reason he isn't in jail right now for a number of failed schemes worse than ENRON is because of SpaceX and to a lesser extent Starlink because his Tesla car killed Chao, in her pond in Texas. Now Tesla has been fudging the books like virtually all the EV group does, except Musk's is in a much larger scale.
I see people getting rid of battery mowers after they find out they don’t perform like their gas counterparts. Additionally they can’t see paying for a new battery only a few years later. Battery costs 2/3 or more of original cost of the mower. Same thing applies to cars.
