Yes, that kid was me! I was about 5 yrs old. I will be 33 in July. I got the chance to be on Put'n on Hits and be a film called Motown Mustang from dancing that day. Great memories.

In 1985 I was 12-13 years old, Maze ft Frankie Beverly was a big hit in my family:My Mom,My Dad, and My Uncles listened to their music pretty often and back then I felt like they were wearing the record out,but course as a child you don't hear the message in music until you become an adult then it makes sense. I appreciate Maze and Frankie Beverly so much now man it's almost unreal.
Word! Some people would listen to this created masterpiece and think that it's just a happy, secular, cook out, fish fry song, but to me it's a powerful song of relationship with God! I say that because, sometimes we can get frustrated with life and lose focus and stop spending the necessary time with God! Get back in stride with God! Peace!
