OMG! It's like I lost a family member. Prior to his Dimise, for 3 wks. I was just obsessed with playing his music, constantly from morning to late at night. Blue toothing his music from my phone to my car radio. So on 9-11, I broke my routine to hear what Rickey Smiley had to say about the Presidential 😮😮Debate, then Roland Martin got on and made the announcement & I screamed so loud and lost it in unbelief and devastation. All during the day, I've been in a state of grief, R.I.P. General of R & B. You will forever live in MY ❤️ 😮😢😢😢😢😢

With a tear of heartwarming love in my eyes, I can only humble myself in the presence of GREATNESS. Many times I have cancelled my shows with my band due to someone's imperfection or my own illness or whatever, but then am brought to my humility by this great and powerful band as Frankie Beverly ignores his own vocal troubles and still steps on that stage to give us his best. This is the best example ever of a man who epitomizes passion and dedication to and for his music and his audience. I have only the greatest respect and admiration for this marvelous and incredible man and this oh-so-amazing band!!!

I grew up listening to Maze,and I went to see him in Oct. 2011,and he sounded as good as he did in the 70's. Jubu can play the guitar...he can make that thing talk !!! I think he plays for the Gospel Group "The Soul Seekers" Jubu is the BOMB

I can't say enough about Maze and Frankie Beverly. They are incredible. Their music will last forever because it is pure, meaning that this band blend together. These guys can truly play and they are ( in my humble) the best band ever. This is not to minimize other bands but Maze is untouchable. Often imitated but can not be duplicated.

That is my favorite song by Maze, I can tell that Frankie is getting old; but still doing the dog gone thang. I simply love him.

Unfortunately Frankie had throat surgery a few years back, if you saw him prior to that you were blessed. WE can only thank him for 30 incredible years of incredible music. I was fortunate to see him in the 80s, 90, and 00s, I remember the first time hammersmith Odeon, he entered the stage and the whole audience rose as one and stood and sang the whole way through the concert They are none to match him today, KTF KTF

Just saw Frankie B and Maze in Dallas, TX in March and he was awesome I always get my money worth at every one of his concerts he was great voice was in tact the show was awesome as always and Jubu is a clown on the guitar it's like he is making love with each chord he hit so whenever they are in the Ark-La-Tex I go see them and can not wait until July to see them at the EMF
