I really enjoyed this reaction vid lol! Just a few things that you needed cleared up: First, In reference to 9:47, Dre and Snoop are talking about Luther Campbell aka Luke or sometimes known as "Uncle Luke" from Miami based rap group "2 Live crew." The genesis of that beef is based around a comment that Luke had made in a magazine about Dre and Death Row sometime in late 1992 which is why he's marginally mentioned on this track along with Eazy. They mentioned the gap in his teeth because in those days and even now, Luke has a very pronounced and noticeable gap in both the top and bottom set of his teeth. Also, Luke and 2 Live crew were famous for rocking bomber style jackets, hints what the character had on in the video. In reference to 14:32, YES that is a legit pic of Dr. Dre in the very beginning phase of his career during his time with R&B group "World class wreckin' crew." Back in the early 80's, Dre was the mix master spinning records for them in the background. Finally in reference to 19:59, that particular lyric is based around Suge Knight's treatment of his underlings and business associates, as it's now public knowledge that violence broke out on damn near a daily basis at Death Row due to Suge's inability to separate his street mentality from his blooming business sense at that time. Now in 2022, Death Row as a property has been acquired by Snoop as of February.

Luke (Luther Campbell) was someone who Dre had some beef with. Campbell was the one who brought in a rap duo called "2-Live-Crew", a controversial rap group out of Miami in the early 90s. At the same time, Snoop Dogg was going at a rapper called Tim Dog, someone from the Bronx who made a song called "F--- Compton".

Luke is from 2 Live Crew. Apparently he threw the hands on Dre in Miami back in the day. Also Snoop says "Tim M-U-T" not "damn amputee". He is talking about Tim Dawg, a rapper that was dissing the West coast rappers for the "gangster" shit. That picture of Dre is from his World Class Wreckin Crew days. Just think of Van Halen when comparing Dre's looks from that period to the Death Row days. the Wreckin Crew was before all the gang stuff. It was dance music, and they had a few hits. One was "turn out the lights" which was pretty big, especially for some punk kids from Compton. Just shows Dre's musical abilities. This must be said: Yes, Dre is the King of West Coast smash hits. No doubt. but you mention in the video it sounded like they were imitating Dre's sound on "real mofo G's". That "G-funk" sound is not exclusively Dres. Check out Big Hutch/Cold 187um from the group Above the Law. Him and Kokane helped Dre define that sound we all know as Gfunk

I never listened to much Eazy, but I did listen to a lot of Bone Thugs N Harmony, your follower might know better then I do, but I believe Eazy discovered them/helped them get started. Besides 2pac(my favorite), you had Eazy and Bone Thugs, Dre, Snoop and later Eminem--what an awesome time to era or rap, top notch stuff. There’s also several references to Tim Dogg, another rapper from Miami I believe (2 Live Crew is also from Miami) who had beef with Snoop around this time, though I’m not sure of the history that beef. It’s true that Dre discovered Snoop and introduced him to the world, but the song that introduced him was “Deep Cover” from the soundtrack of the movie of the same name.
