Collaborating robots - so-called cobots - unlike “ordinary” robots do not require measures like cages or light barriers. Furthermore, they are small, mobile and don’t take up too much space. CoBo-Stack picks up the stacks from the table and deposits them on pallets 24/7. It “knows” how to place folded products with bulky spines in such a way on the pallet that the stack stays steady. We managed to teach the robot the skillfullness of a bookbinder with long-term experience.
