Nice job brother...😂🤣 communist Amazon prime...I hear ya..love the truck.just got a 22 tradesman dually myself. In your opinion does it give more turbo noise over stock?
Hi Chris, for some reason I didn't get the notification that you commented. I do hear the turbo over stock as the truck is deleted and its a straight pipe from turbo with no muffler until I installed one. I did take the foam baffle out of the intake as well. There are different opinions on that, I would take out the foam and leave the plastic frame/baffle to direct air flow into the turbo. Thanks for commenting!
Just to be clear the MBRP is a resonator not a muffler. A muffler muffles the sound to below the max 91 dba as per the laws when Ram built the truck to be allowed to sell the truck, even at full load. Even your wife hates the excess noise!! As a person with a house by a Hwy i hate the noise from trucks like yours, a straight piped Cummins is the worst of all light duty trucks. YOU may like the sound, but I, your wife and my nieghbors do not. Adding a resonator does nothing to your trucks excess exhaust noise when pulling under load. Q the hatters in the comments below.
Well it helped with the in cab drone. Can't help if my exhaust is subjectively "too loud". I'm the one that has to pay for repairing all the expensive EPA mandated junk that fails and reduces the life of the engine. All so some politicians can pat themselves on the back, thinking they are helping when in reality they are driving costs of trucks and maintenance up. Which drives the up costs of food and goods the trucks deliver.
They actually DO reduce the sound. MBRP literally has a video showing significantly reduced decibels with their mufflers installed. Not only is your comment incredibly whiny, it's flatout wrong. Congrats 👏
