I like that this has the same deep throaty sound of the stock exhaust but has an extra loud kick. I was having trouble picking an exhaust that kept that deep sound and love of my stock. Love the video!!
I have a 2018 mustang gt just installed mbrp race sounds amazing loud and aggressive race car sound thanks for your video I ordered it sounds just as good as corsa extreme my brother has corsa camro as.
Awesome! Glad my video helped you out and to hear your feedback! I get lots of compliments on this exhaust. Plus the money you save can now go to other stang goodies 😎
Sounds like...Freedom. BTW, this one of the best exhaust reviews I've seen. Strong work. I have just over 60k miles on my 2017 GT and am in that 'Refresh' mindset. Living in the Arkansas Ozarks and wanna get her healthy for Fall driving.
thanks for the feedback! 'Refresh' as in you have a bunch of stuff done and you want to change it all or you're sitting stock and want to start modding?
@@VogelStang Sitting stock and want some mild mods. My 5.0 is my daily so she has to stay reliable. Mild engine mods and more extensive suspension mods in mind.
Nice! I daily mine as well. I just hit the 1 year mark on 7/11 and have 15k on her. I'm kind of going down the same road as you, suspension stuff and mild mods for now but who know where's I'll end up.
I love the sound and I love how much you enjoy your Mustang with that exhaust. I am going to buy it for my 2021GT. I watch your video a lot of times. Great video😘
@@ileanamorales39im last time I was under the car it all looked fine and I've had no issues. I live in area with snow and heavily salted roads in the winter so it gets quite a bit of exposure to bad elements. I don't daily it during the winter but i do put at least 100 miles a week on it. I could always do an update video on it so you and anyone else interested could see what it looks like.
Thanks! I've had this exhaust on for a year now and have no regrets. I am very happy with the price I paid and the result. I would buy this same kit again if I got another Mustang.
No, I gave up trying to get it perfect. They actually have gotten a bit worse over time. I wonder if it would help to have two ppl, one to hold it in the right place while the other tightens the bolts. If you figure out a trick let me know 👍
At idle it is definitely louder than stock but it's not super loud. It's very loud during a cold start but quiets down after like 20-30 seconds but is still louder than stock. You can still go through drive-thru's and have no problem ordering 😁. For cruising, if you use higher gears and go light on the throttle you can keep it from being loud. I have no problems talking with passengers or using the phone with the in car speakers/mic connected. Let me know how you like them!
Definitely, street series does have a good sound to it. We'll be introducing some headers (with high flow cats) soon so it'll be interesting to see how loud it will be with race version of mbrp 😬
Thanks! Yup, I actually took the exhaust off the mustang in this video and put it on my new mustang. Another 2019 but went with a PP1 with a manual trans. Also got headers with high flow cats, might be a bit too loud and raspy now with the headers.
@@joedoe3121 cat back exhaust installs are pretty simple as long as you have the right tools so I do that myself in my driveway. The header install I was not going to attempt alone in a driveway, so I took it to Rob's Performance in Belleville NJ. Great guy, great job!
Oh ok .yeah headers are hard to install if not with a lift .I might have taken mine's to mustang magic in long island, I'm having trouble passing inspection
Salut . Je recherche un catbaback mbrp pour ma 'Stang 2015 et je vois ta vidéo ! Je m'appelle Patrick ... Vogel ... c'est vrai ! Ce qui incroyable c'est le Nom et Mustang en commun!... Belle journée ....
Amazing!!! Another Vogel Mustang combination!! 😁👍 It's great to meet you! This mbrp exhaust is awesome, I still love it! However, if you're ever thinking of getting headers, beware! This exhaust is beyond extremely loud with headers even with high flow cats! I will eventually do a video with the headers, I'm just waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer here.
If you like loud exhaust and don't live in a neighborhood where it might be a problem then absolutely! I put 40,000 miles on my mustang in 3 years so I pretty much daily drive it and I love this exhaust. It can be tough in drive thru's, I usually have to turn the car off to order food. I tried a few times with it running and they couldn't hear me 🤣. You can also keep it on the quiet side if you go real light on the gas pedal. It really comes down to personal taste, your routine and environment. Like if you have to start it up at 6am every morning to go to work and you live somewhere around a lot of close neighbors then it might not be a good idea.
Could be due to the engine differences between gen2 and gen3. Gen3 intake and exhaust valves are a bit larger. Not sure if that's the reason or not though, just guessing 🤷♂️
I don't think there's much drone at all. For me, it's all good as long as I can have a conversation with the passenger at cruising speed without having to raise my voice. The drone has gotten a bit louder since installing a cold air intake but still fine.
