Hope videos like these become more frequent and faster to kill off progussys and similar channels. I imagine people will still watch whichever one is faster tho
I’ve been tempted by Progrussy because whoever it is, just uploads quick and it hits my recommended before MBTV/MBT&F, but since I learned that MBT&F is run by Vlad and not a random I’ve been trying to stay away from Progrussy. Originally I only knew you had MBTV as the official VOD chan, but now that I know MBT&F is run by someone you’re friends with I’ll support them and the official MBT channels
@@ducky36F same as well as progrussy really knows how to choose which to clips, Joseph is a really funny content creator but he plays yugioh and some of his stuff doesn’t really align with me, so progrussy was my go to.
In case anyone didn't notice it in chat, Ptolemaeus being back lets any deck that can put two level 4s on board make Stellarknight Constellar Diamond, which might as well read "if your opponent is on Tear, give them the double deuce and call them a bitch".
@@ttinchung111 Put another Stellarknight under Ptolemaeus during your end phase, use Pto effect and rank it up in opponent's draw phase. Diamond still gets its floodgate effect because you have Pto under it, you just can't use the negate without turning the floodgate eff off
Quick link to MBT's original reaction to Ruxin's first banlist video, for context ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D6SMKof4u5g.html Love how everyone calls out Joseph nowadays, it's killing me
As a note, I'd love links to the original content if you're posting reaction clips. Just as good form to the people and an easy way for us to check them out.
Instant Fusion and Havnis are the annoying cards from Tear. Instant fusion because it’s sacky and Havnis does that “our turn” stuff and that is the thing that makes it so annoying to play against.
See, that's the thing though: Its less about whether or not Herald is terrible, but more so that there's gotta be more realistic ways to counter the deck. Giving Tear negates is just a huge mistake, its already really strong without any and Herald lets them plus off of it with their Ishizu monsters for the discard cost. I wouldn't be very shocked if Rulkallos gets banned (since you can't hit Kit without just ruining the deck, as much as normies would love that), although i'd rather a situation where Planet gets banned and you make Tearlament players run Grief since the card is much more fair and serves the same purpose as far as searching your monsters go. Outside of Tearlaments, the Ishizu cards aren't necessarily THAT broken from what I can understand. The only other deck that makes really good use of the Ishizu cards is Naturia and arguably Runick. When the time comes for us to properly hit the deck, you need to ban either Planet or Rulkallos (if you ban Rulkallos, limit Planet), ban Instant Fusion, limit Havnis, and maybe semi-limit or limit Scheiren for additional hits to consistency. Aside from that, its really up in the air as to whether we really need to hit the Ishizu package that hard since it seems (at least going off of the OCG) that the Tearlaments package is the stronger half of the deck. Like, Kelbek and Keldo should each be hit to some extent I think, though you could probably just semi Kelbek and limit Keldo and things would be fine for the most part. I'd prefer Tearlaments be basically a tier 1.5 deck that rewards skilled play and can reliably win events consistently (similar to before the release of MAMA when going toe to toe with Spright), but can also be reasonably countered in the side board while accounting for other various archetypes at an event. Tearlaments was cooler when it wasn't the objectively best deck in the room, and the fact I find myself rooting for Floow AS A TEAR PLAYER is just insane. Like, cool or not, it can't go on forever. There's a reason that Smash Bros Brawl's competitive scene never took off to the same extent as Melee's, no one wants to play in a meta where its just a million Meta Knight dittos. I agree that this format will be cool to come back to every now and then (Brawl has that similar sort of nostalgia nowadays and has its niche), but I hardly think anyone wants this to be the future of the meta. I want to see decks like Swordsoul do well again at some point, and i want us to be in a place again where it makes sense to hit Scythe.
I would have also banned beatrice. That card is a problem, and while I think its going to fall off a bit when the bystial builds stop being the best version, namely post phhy when kashtira is also another deck it has to worry about, the card just does way too much and has been a problem for a while.
Most people: Konami should weaken Tearlaments by hitting their most powerful support. Konami R&D: We should weaken Tearlaments by unbanning stuff that would threaten them.
Believe it or not, I think the main function of this list is preemptively hitting Dark World before the structure comes out. Curious was easiest summoned by Dangers after all, and the structure has several of them. Meanwhile, Dim Fis and Macro are a big reason why the previous Dark World structure deck never made a big splash.
Farfa hates tear, to the point he got annoying to some. His reaction to d.fi and macro cosmos is correct. Those cards are annoying floodgates that if it wasn't for tear NO ONE would have wanted them back, expect that one local Larry that plays gren maju in 2k22
