Definitely, Em got better and better as the years went on, he learned from his mistakes, experimented with his wordplay and expanded his vocabulary, whereas since Juice never pursued a proper career in music, his skill level now is the same as it was 25 years ago

MC Juice could top damn near any popular rapper that isn’t Eminem. Track for track I think Em would demolish but freestyle for freestyle it wouldn’t be a landslide, Em would win but Juice wouldn’t make it seem easy.

He's not salty. He just raps to be the best rapper. He actually respects Em & even did a freestyle on Shade45. He said on a much longer video for Scribble Jam 97' - That Em was one of the dopest rappers he ever went up against. You can see Juice looked hella bored ripping everyone else apart, til he battled Em. Like finally, a worthy opponent.

Also, it would be silly for him to seek out beef or do circus acts for what - rap battle envy? I think he needs to take a break and start exploring things he hasn't before. Put his pen into commenting on culture, society and whatever he's interested in. His artistry is what initially separated him from the crowd, but he's losing that now. Emotionally (and not anger), the last I felt him really dig deep and show vulnerability, explore something, was in Revival. Since then, he's gone back to safe rap again.
