My grandpa Ruben Reyna Sr lost his life at 86 years old from COVID 19 on July 11 2020 he worked with McAllen PD as a PSO community service specialist for 19 years and retired in July 2011

Cause that’ll narrow it down by a large/significant margin. And there are over 3 and a half million interactions with cops and 99 percent of them end peacefully. This was a tragedy but now maybe McAllen can look into getting their officers body cameras, McAllen has a history of violating the citizens without any consequences
If you have the balls to have a gun, also have the balls to talk your problems over.. Our men in blue have a hard job as it is and nothing is worth killing yourself or someone, wish that boy had gotten the right help before this tragedy. Heros rest in peace knowing they did everything they could.

Domestic violence calls are the most dangerous calls police deal with. If we do police reform we can approach domestic complaints according to one standard "serious". By having a communicator./negotiator,use an phone number/bullhorn to open a communication by distancing a deadly situation

Sometimes it is better to leave some things unsaid, but I will not be rude to you or say anything negative to you. God bless you and may God change your mind because not all police officers are bad just like not all people have bad hearts. With that being said I will pray for you even though I don't know you. My brother was a very kind soul and he would have prayed for you too.
I live down the street and it wasn’t an ambush like cops said. The cops pushed in the door by force when young man told them he would come out. The public obviously didn’t see their bodycam or else they would know the truth. All three were victims and all three made bad choices. The cops didn’t follow protocol either. If they would’ve all three would still be alive
It can be a very dangerous job at times. The hard part is minimizing deaths by rewriting police duties so that the appropriate agencies get involved instead of having untrained officers trying to do something they have not been properly trained to do

If you really want to help law enforcement minimize your troubles stand behind police reform. Most officers in the course of an average day don't have many violent encounters because America is made up mostly of small towns. Domestic violence is dangerous no matter where you are. But these officers didn't give thought to this person shooting as soon as they walked up. They needed to take all precautions with options. A phone call is always best. If he won't answer the phone it's not a good sign. With enough back up he may not have fired the first shot after see his house surrounded. And if there is absolutely no problems at least you took all precautions
Have you seen the shooters prior mug shot?? I'm wondering why he was beaten up in his mug shot? Possible one of those cops previously arrested him with force and he wasn't going down like that again. I would love to see the shooters prior arrest reports to see if these cops have been involved with him in the past.

The whole reason why they called the police was bc Aldon was in an argument with his mom and his sister which was going to end up with domestic abuse. They were scared and called the police; Officer Chavez got shot in the chest and Officer Garza got shot in the head. They didn't stand a chance. How is Aldon still a hero after all of that?

Two officers never stode a chance? Sounds like they were unarmed minding their own business when they were aproached by armed men from all sides with badges. Why is different when one one doing his job and the other was minding his own business? One was trained what to do the other was just minding his own business.
