The Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Partnership, alongside a
delegation from the region, recently completed a significant visit to the nation's
capitol aimed at amplifying the region's advocacy priorities and fostering
collaborative efforts toward sustainable progress.
During their visit in Washington D.C., the RGV delegation engaged in high-level
meetings with policymakers, government officials, and industry leaders. The goal
was to raise awareness about key regional needs, garner support for critical
initiatives, and strengthen partnerships that can drive positive change.

Infrastructure Improvements
Education and Workforce Development
Healthcare Access and Quality
Border Security and Immigration Reform
Economic Development and Job Creation
The delegation met with key federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services, Bureau of Reclamation, International Trade
Administration (Department of Commerce), and the U.S. Department of State.
They also engaged with Senators and Representatives from various districts,
emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts and strategic investments to
unlock the region's full potential.
