@parkerjameson8663 running his unique McCulloch 797G. This saw started out as an 890 style geardrive, and has a 797 motor installed into the frame. 123cc with a 2:1 reduction ratio, pulling square filed .404" chain.
Hell yeah. That smile is so wide it's close to knocking your ears off kid. Having a legendary saw in your hands will do that to you from time to time--OUTSTANDING!👏
She sounds great, I can't wait till I can start my 101 swapped one I have in the plans. Something about long cutting wood and the noodles it makes....chip shroud got clogged quick, wish there were big pine trees around me to do this too.
Awesome Saw! You would get better results and it wouldn't bog or strain as much if you would let your tip work its way into the wood First! Then start pulling back on it.
@happysaws6461 Was it as pricy as 1/2" square chisel? Upwards of $10 per link was the rate for 1/2" last time I checked into it. That's a little absurd IMO.
