You can get those Cream Cheese Danish packages now at your local grocery store, I think even Walmart grocery sells them. Heat them up for 10 secs and they are pretty much exactly what was served at McDonalds back then. Not sure why McD's stopped selling them.
I've never heard the term "hotcakes" outside of McDonald's. Everywhere else that I know about, it's "pancakes". Anyway, this is amazing. I turned 12 in the summer when this aired. Wow.

I agree , the steamed danishes were so good . I worked at McDonald's 84-85 in high school . We would steam them and they came in Cinnamon , Apple , Cherry , and Cheese . The Cinnamon was my favorite !
