I hated any kiosk/ self checkout because it boils down to corporate greed. Now, however i always go to those FIRST since the minimum wage push. I worked minimum wage for years. I WORKED my ass of and now have a good job and good pay. Who the hell are they thinking they shouldnt have to do the same? I remember when people would WORK for a raise, now people want to cry for one. Ill only use their replacements now
Abdel Russell don't worry automation with hit blue collar jobs faster than low income jobs in the next 10-20 years. They aren't putting the kiosks because of minimum wage. They are doing it because technology enables and makes it easier.
John Possum May I remind you that this is a capitalistic economy.... better quality food? Yeah ok lol. Their regular clientele is getting exactly what they deserve.
McDonalds, from a customer perspective, seems like one of the worst restaurant companies to visit or work for nowadays. In a time when so many other companies are trying to innovate, all that McDonald's is doing differently is cutting jobs by offering the self-service kiosks. It seems like McDonald's is falling short in comparison to so many other fast food restaurants that are taking new risks. I rarely ever experience good customer service, quality, or order accuracy at McDonald's. The menu has barely changed at all in the past 5 years. Many of the restaurants are still old, run down, and lack cleanliness. I don't even see recycling bins at many of them.
I don't see animal abuse/animal free products. Healthier foods..you put "microscopic filler balls" in the shakes. Why not do a dairy free shake? There are so many options...
They are projected to grow at 9-10% over the next few years and they have consistently beaten and occasionally guided up estimates over the past 2 years, so investors are willing to pay a premium for their earnings stream today even if it is expected to remain flat for a short year. Future expectations trump near term expectations with companies in favor on Wall Street. That's why Microsoft can trade as high as it does with such little near term earnings growth. Optimism about longer term growth from levers like Azure and LinkedIn.
The best thing McDonalds did was bring the European McDonald’s food like Holland stroopwafel McFlurry and Canadian tomato chicken burger to the American mcdonalds. BRING IT BACK, AMERICAN MCDONALDS MENU SUCKS!
😅 gtfoh..... not everyone who is a CEO is crook and unethical. He has managerial skills and more. The value of a McDonalds worker isnt great so they are paid accordingly in comparison to doctors, truck drivers, engineers, etc
@@NAT-turners-Revenge i never said that every ceo is unethical and a crook, i never even said that he's a crook. i agree that his skill set is higher than the person at the drive thru but earning 3000 as much? i looked further into it and the average employee counts part time employees as well so i'm not as disgusted, but i still stand by what i said. if you read this and want to respond, i want to know your thoughts on something (it's not related to easterbrook, it's about another ceo). jeff bezos makes more in 10 seconds than the average amazon worker makes in a year. is that reasonable or morally justifiable?
