I think it may have been because having mascots that appealed to kids was a bad look, especially when the restaurant sells unhealthy food. I do miss them too.

Domoforsale or DomoStone that's not true because I'm a kid from the 2010's and I love the retro 1980's Transformers and Kenner Star Wars Power Of The Force II and the Goosebumps books and Goosebumps Series 2000. But I get what you mean because most kids wouldn't care for these characters but I definitely like Ronald McDonald and I think that it was a silly move to get rid of them

i heard that the reason why they no longer use ronald in commercials is because they decided to dedicate ronald as the mascot for the ronald mcdonald charity and stopped doing food commercials with him cause of it

One thing I love about some of these cmmercials is the continuity. Like Iamhungry ends up getting his fries after being tossed out of the shoe while the fry sniffing aliens still have Ronalds shoes on their heads.

Now it's a Starbucks clone that happens to also sell burgers and other sandwiches. Almost all the restaurants are now grey or dark inside, boxed shaped on the outside, and are as cozy as a hospital or office building. BORING!!

Its just his voice that puts me off. In the other adverts his voice is cool, but in this one its got a kind of sexy tone to it, AND THAT IS 100% CRINGE TO ME
