let’s be real. the employee communication is absolutely ON POINT. the manners. everything is absolutely great. i managed a mcdonald’s and it’s NOTHING like this at most stores. I absolutely love the respect your staff gives each other. Take note Mcdonald’s, these ones are doing it right!
He's the owner lol. You think he's gonna be rude to someone on a video and then put it on RU-vid? Or someone is gonna be a jackass on camera when they know he's filming? lol
Lol its because he's the owner. You said in your own words most stores are totally different. Of course when the owner is working everyone is super polite and doing it all by the book.
For real though lol I was an opening manager at McDonalds for two years and I hated every minute of it, but not because of the customers. I had the rudest employees of all time, just straight up disrespectful. Lol I would call out like this guy did, and would be met with eye rolls or attitude. So glad I got away from it, so jealous of the communication this guy has with his employees.
Disclaimer: While this guy looks like he is an average McDonald's employee, and perhaps he was at one point, he is actually an owner/operator of a location which is why he's allowed to record while working. That's why all the other employees are kind of intimidated by him too, it's literally their boss LOL!
The way he folds the wrapping. The manners. The way he cleanly assembles each sandwich. An honest man making an honest living, taking pride in his work. So many things to like from this video man. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Mexico.
@@deanbean379 It's this kind of attitude that leaves so many people just half-assing it in their daily lives with everything and not just at their jobs.
I think it's because he is so efficient and orderly. I keep watching to see if he makes any mistakes but we probably wouldn't know unless the customer said so.
So fascinating to see how things have changed..Breakfast was tedious as heck back in the day ...especially making pancakes with batter on the grill... 😅
Indeed! I can remeber it , lol and the round bacon for the biscuits! lol - I was like who the heck did they do that- hahahahah When the cinnamon rolls were cooked/heatue up in the biscuit oven... the old Quater-hauffman steam cabinets lol....
when he read the order and immediately went like “that my be my wife” was so cute :c he even checked to see if it rlly is lmaooo shdbsj respects to you sir!!
@@themarinect It’s the original American word for it I think. ”Selling like a hotcake” refers to pancake which was a big thing during Lent for people back in the days
Thanks for the frequent uploads! I would like to see how the other parts of the kitchen work in combination with your bun assembly station. Like how the patties are grilled, placed into the trays and assembled into the burger.
I recall my two previous experiences working at MCD's as being just this clean, organized and efficient. It's not health food and it's not perfect, but there are many myths and misconceptions.
I’ve worked at a Jamba Juice for 3 years out of high school, and then a grocery store followed by a local food business. And to this day, the Jamba Juice was the cleanest, most efficient place I’d ever worked at. The local business was horrific despite people thinking it would be cleaner and neater, nope! People love to shit on fast food, but they know how to get things done.
Right, I worked at a Denny's years ago and was surprised at how clean McDonald's is. And the fry baskets are so shiny and new. At Denny's we hardly ever had new stuff...
I'm sure it might be weird(especially maybe to those who actually work at McDonald's) but I could watch hours of this. And from reading the comments I know I'm not alone lol also the way he folds up the wrapper/food just seems so cool haha
It's like watching an episode of "how it's made" on TV, you think a place like a cardboard box factory is super interesting...unless you work there lol
not weird at all, i used to work at jack in the box and while we had our bad days it was still so entertaining right after our rush. i miss that job but at some point u gotta change it up lmao
did a breakfast shift today myself! really nice to see another place, not so busy as mine running smoothly and enjoying it. Keep up the fantastic work out there kind sir!
Do you have any idea how freaking much animals are killed for that? Places like that are destroying the world at 300km/h, weird you give your respect to that
@@User-ki2xy wow. Pretty damn entitled. I'm pretty happy to see people doing hard work In a professional manner. Justifying your broad generalization based off of what you've read about a specific corporation? Where's the respect in that? Being idealistic isn't something that's progressive if your justification puts the general masses at an extreme disadvantage. It just makes you extremely privileged.
@@User-ki2xy extremely cruel and nasty thing to say about a comment commending people humble enough to do this type of labor. That is not ok to shame people like that. Absolutely not ok.
@@xc7525 Yo. Always cool to see when people are good with language, even though english isn't even my native language. Of course I am not referring to this one employee when I say that he destroyed the world at 300 km/h. He can even do very little about that, despite his dubious choice of job. And what you say there about 'being humble', is on the one hand correct. I also think it is very good to honor even the smallest and worst jobs. We should be happy that there are people who do them. Only, for the same wage, this employee could and would just as well want to work elsewhere. My goal with my response was therefore not to belittle this employee, but to vent my frustration with companies like McDonalds. With a bit of luck people are still willing to take one less shower 'for the planet', but they don't think that there are 5000 showers in 1 bigmac. McDonalds has nothing to be proud of or respect at all.
@@User-ki2xy I really appreciate your thoughtful response. I see that we are both arguing for the same side. Our approaches may be a bit different but it is very clear that you care about the welfare of others and have given me food for thought. I apologize for being a bit aggressive with my response. Really appreciate your thoughtfulness and sharing 🙏
I love watching street food pov videos from other places in the world, especially Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Lebanon. I didn't consider that fast food like this is about as close to street food as we get here in the US. I wouldn't have thought it'd be interesting to watch but this is definitely entertaining to watch. Not what I was expected to show up in my recommended feed but I'm pleasantly surprised that I found a new fun thing to watch.
I used to work at a McDonald’s as my first ever job. Then I moved to a new state and worked at another Mcd’s location and I can honestly tell you that I enjoyed it so much. I made great friends and had good work ties with the managers. Thank you for putting out this content
It’s a hassle to clean and then make the ice cream. Takes half the day. Take everything apart( handles and clean the tunnels)then putting ice cream in. From what one working our ice cream works. It’s just when it’s due for cleaning it the ice cream isn’t what it should be then it’s a pain😭 especially when it’s refusing to work properly for the ice cream to be not liquid.
I’m really obsessed with this channel LOL. I think this is my fave one so far. My dad really loved McDonald’s breakfast and he used to take me as a treat whenever I helped him with errands in the morning. I get so nostalgic whenever I eat a sausage McMuffin :)
I wished back when I worked at McDonald's I worked with others like this. Communication is on point, everyone is doing what they're supposed to do, being helpful and everything is organized, has a flow.
Thanks for sharing once again my good friend! I’ve been drinking McDonald’s coffee lately all thanks to your videos l.m.a.o. Been on a McDs binge….I hope everyone is having a great week! Greetings from lovely NJ. - Gary
The employee communication is so good, love how he interacts with them and shows us how to make certain things throughout each video and the manners are superb and really effective. The McDonald’s that I’m working at is nothing like this and it’s one of the best videos I’ve ever watched. Keep it up Stephen.
If you see an old Vet go ahead and thank them but I promise you like 98% of military under the age of 35 don't really want to be thanked by strangers on the street, even if intentions are sincere. And the other 2% are the worst kind of people lol
As someone who worked in the fast food industry before I know how degrading it can be, as people look down on you and think they have some superiority over you. Your videos are making fast food workers more respectable, good job and keep it up.
I have to say I own a company and my employees are good for the industry we are in but you ! Your the next level. Watching you and your professional level and work ethic and move with such grace is rare to see . Keep doing what your doing you just brought a hole new level of what employees and supervisors should be performing at . I have to say I respect you a Ton keep it up .
Working there before I can tell you the times he filmed himself making orders it's very slow as in the pace of orders is not high so he's able to show what he's doing in great detail. He does a great job. When you get a huge rush trust me you can be making 6-8 sandwiches at a time by yourself and having to do 8 more after that. It's fun when you have everyone on the same page but a nightmare if there's no communication. Luckily I had good team members who were on the ball.
I love your videos. I'm a janitor at McDonalds. I'm so glad (and relived) I dont work behind the grill or food prep. Seems stressful. My McDonald's is pretty good and laid back. I hope yours is the same.
I worked in fast food in my teens and for my uncle's catering company in my early 20s and can't express enough how thankful I am that I did.. you learn about teamwork, communicating with coworkers, and customers in stressful and non stressful situations, etc.. seriously, learning people skills will take you very far in life.
Love these videos man, they have such an ASMR vibe for me. I also love McDonald's food. But. I never go to the ones where I live because the employees/management is so bad.
my partner did some part time work at mcdonalds in the UK, she worked hard, I have the greatest respect for the staff they do a hard job and dont get the recognition from the public.
Worked at Burger King through high school and some of college. Having a shift crew who enjoy working with each other and are communicating is a beautifully well oiled machine. You would almost dare for it to get more busy as a fun challenge and test.
Normally fast food places are quite hectic and sometimes and people not the greatest. This just seems sorta peaceful and nice. You are quite the leader, everyone else is chill and just doing their thing.
Hey Stephen, i Love Your Content, please Keep up the Good work and Spreading Positivity to others, and Especially Shining a Bright Light in the McDonald's Brand
this reminds me of when i worked there i personally hated the work and smell of breakfast in the morning there while making it but i miss the noises and feel of it
I used to work for BK for 2 Years as an Asst. Supervisor, and my favorite place to work is at the back. Rush hour can go crazy sometimes but if I'm working with the people that I enjoy working with it's a smooth operation,, and on my lunch breaks I would experiment on ingredients combining some condiments and when we had the chili dogs ohh man that was amazing it was so good, thinking back about it I do kinda miss it not just the work but the people I worked with.,
Only now realising that the wrappers have several different sandwich types on them and depending on where you place the food upon wrapping display the correct name on top. mind blown, lmao
Yes, however he placed the wrapper on the line wrong and assembled it flipped over from how McDonalds has standardized it. In the end it's not a big deal since the customer got the right sandwich in the right wrapper.
Your doing 90% of McDonalds advertising for them while working there! I bet everyone is way more likely to get food from there, watching these videos, than their own advertising.
Yea but they can also sue him for using these for profit and breach of privacy. This is a paying website free to the public and that is a privately owned and marketed company with stockholders. You really think they want some random guy representing the billions of dollars at stake, especially when they pay millions for a marketing team and commercials they have to approve.
0:50 why did he have to throw out the paper though? Is it that important? Anyway I'm not sure why this is so satisfying to watch, he works so diligently!
My guy most Walmarts sell maple flavored spicy sausage patties and liquid eggs like McDonald’s has. U can have an egg McMuffin literally anytime U want
@@cadestockman5731 It's not the same. It just isn't. Also, I'm the kind of person craving easy access mcdonald's, I'm also not the kind of person who is going to drive to the grocery store buy a bunch of shit, come home and then make it lol.
@@the3rdid485 Also, McDonald's has a distinct flavor. Those bought at the grocery store are not the same taste. They're just not. The craving you have is for the specific McDonald's sandwich. Damn, now I'm craving it too!!!
I’m just saying the closest McDonald’s to me does not have quality like this. Everything is tossed together in such a careless rush I frequently have sandwiches that have come unwrapped in the bag. This in turn causes the bottom to become a slushed mess of mixed toppings, whole burger patties, toasted buns and loose fries. Greatly appreciate what I see here though I’m sure customers are very satisfied 💪💪❤️❤️
Absolutely, spent 7 years as trainer/manager under a good owner, what you see here is absolutely textbook. McD has something called the "Golden Standards", every store is supposed to follow them. This ensures wether you get a Big Mac in Nashville, TN or Naples, FL, it's the same sandwich, quality and service. Sad truth is a lot of owners follow those standards too loosely or not at all and the location close to you is what you end up with. This dude runs a tight ship, even the most broken rules are still being followed. It's refreshing to know there's stores out there like this.
Mcdonald's has improved their processes since I worked there in the 1990s. Back then the prep station for building the burgers/sandwiches, and wrapping station were about 8 feet apart.
You are a hard and great worker. We need more people like you in the fast food chains. Absolutely fabulous how you treat your co workers. These videos are great and satisfying too lol
I would eat at this McDonald’s it looks clean and I know a bunch of punk kids are not making my sandwich. You seem professional. Awesome video. I just found your channel and subscribed.
Love the Communication and Teamwork. Also liked that he threw out something that didn’t look good anywhere else they would’ve just put it on a bun and kept it moving. 10/10
To keep it short and simple, I would blow my brains out if I had to do this job 5 days a week, honest respect to anyone who works this type of repetitive job. Can't remember how many times McDonalds saved me when I needed a quick meal on the go.
Man the efficiency is wild. Really cool to watch. I wonder if people with something ocd or ocd like mannerisms would enjoy working in that kind of setup hypothetically
