You shouldn’t be eligible to be a fast food chain GM unless you game up thru the ranks. Only then do you know what your employees deal with daily. Also provides a sense of leadership. Like if I can do it you can too type of mentality. True team players all around, and I wish people understood how hard fast food employees work.
@@qtaro-7097 I think he said in one of his videos his parents bought a couple McDonald's locations. He just took them over after years of working them.
Food service is one of the most underappreciated jobs when it comes to customers, the ones that bitch and moan wouldn't last a full shift on the line in a fast food/restaurant kitchen. Mad respect, everyone should be required to work at least 1 shift to see what it's really like to run a kitchen.
That became a madhouse with orders from the halfway point and beyond. That was insane but man, Shawn had his work cut out for him the entire time with how fast stuff was replaced and quickly running out again.
All day breakfast was a disappointment too. Pretty much it’s because they were microwaving all the stuff that’s usually put on the grill top in the morning.
@@zjoyce1730 once it gets to a certian time most breakfest stuff gets thrown away so if you order breakfest items in the afternoon there most likely made fresh.
Hello from Japan! Your movements are so smooth that I keep watching. Thank you for the happy times! Tomorrow I'm going to buy breakfast at MacDonald! For some reason, when I enter a MacDonald, I end up looking for you!
I like the 'hunting stage', where Stephen knows what he wants but can't remember what tray it's in. He ends up touching three or four trays before finding what he's looking for. 😄
I worked McDonald’s in the 80’s and this seems like double the work compared to when we use to cook to order, that one breakfast was setting there getting cold while waiting for the scrambled eggs
What I love about your franchise is you always try to maintain the quality of the food fresh for the customers something that unfortunately most places don’t think right
As a former McDs swing manager I used to despise Saturday morning breakfast. You’d usually wouldn’t have your best crew on and of course that’s when you were typically the busiest. I really don’t know how you make this look so easy.
Ive been working since November, ive been through 13 jobs now, I thought I was gonna lose another, but McDonald's has held onto me like a relationship, somehow, it works, as much as the days are hard at times, the employees make you feel a little upset at times, you do see the love at times, and it is a job I recommend, something I didn't expect to be apart of my life, and was a last resort really, has become, such a good thing, so, congrats McDonald's, you won me over!
@@pranaymore4823 I'll say if you go to your local store, they probably have a sign with a number you can text to apply. Or can you apply through indeed and I think at the McDonald's website. Or you can request an interview (may vary depending on location).
I worked the grill at McD in the early 90's we did not have straight bacon, the bacon for the breakfast sandwiches was round and had to be cooked under the clamshells
I give these people mad props for being able to work at these fast food places! I couldn't do it. Having to fill out all of the orders and picking up speed like that! Talk about crazy!!
I have worked in food service for 25 years now, and these videos are so cathartic to watch for some reason. I would like to know what the various beeping sounds represent. You should do a video just on that.
Congratulations on your skills. Working on the line knowing what your doing man.. hope some day. I work for a restaurant I have the same skills... Great job performance
Hello my dear friend Stephen! You won't believe it, it's 3:00AM and I saw a recipe for interesting buns on RU-vid and decided to cook them, and now I'm waiting for them to bake, and bam your new video is coming out, I'm so glad! 🥰
Went to McDonald’s to get a couple McDoubles and a medium fry… 11.34 for the total… I miss the days everything was reasonable! But I still go back because I’m a sucker for McDonald’s.
I’m from San Diego California please make the deluxe breakfast platter. Comes with hotcakes scrambled eggs susage bacon 2 English muffins. Then in a separate bag or on the same tray a hash brown along with the syrup and the utensils that come with a napkin and the spread for the English muffins like the preserves or jam or jelly.
We are the BUSYEST store in the area in the UK, and we had Saturday breakfast last week, it was HELL they majorly understaffed us, I was working on Front counter at the time and it was THE WORST day I've had in 6 years, because we had FIVE people on kitchen.
Lol that moment he says OMG I felt that his screen probably filled up and was pending orders. Or in the mcdonalds world they have opportunity/danger in grill
I hope you’re a franchise owner and this is how you make extra money cause I know it’s not cheaper on those franchises. Best of luck and your videos are awesome buddy.
Im about to start working at McDonalds for my first job ever, and I was wondering, how do you receive the orders to do? Sometimes I see a receipt, other times there isnt.
I'm working in McDonald's in the front line or table service, or mainly at the ice cream kiosk. During peak hours I'm almost like what you're doing now. Quite interesting though.
McDonald's bagel! Haven't seen it at UK McDonald's for ages since they changed the menu. McDonald's in the U.S. has more variety than in Britain, the taste must be better as well.
They have more breakfast variety but currently, UK has more variety in main and desserts. We have mozzarella dippers eff where as US don't have sides. I had the mcgriddle a few years back when I went to. Chicago, super good! EU countries also have crazy menus, France and Poland especially
just out of curiosity, how hard would it be for someone who's very nearsighted (let's say something like 20:400 left eye, 20:600 right eye) to do this kind of job?
Even though prices are going up, there are certain things if you want the taste you just have to pay for. Population growth has doubled since the 90's and early 2000's. I understand why fast food prices are getting higher. Basic philosophy is either cook at home for a cheaper price or eat prepared food and pay the extra cost for the luxury of not cooking or serving. Life facts.
I got a bit of a question: is menu influenced by location, by the fanchise owner, or a combination of the two? Because I live in Wyoming, and all my local joints have Hot&Spicy McChickens, yet no regular McChickens, but yet everyone ive ever talked to says its the inverse for them. I've actually never had a standard McChicken as a result, while everyone else says they wished they had the H&S
Stephen i have a question i have been in the process of getting a job and i was thinking about maybe working at a McDonald's near where i live what do you think i should do when i go to increase my chances of getting hired
