As a former employee of Mickey's, back in my teens, my co-workers and I used to put the quarter pounder beef in our Big Macs almost everyday. We were busted by our supervisor, and had to stop... When she wasn't looking. That was 30+ years ago. We were on to something, huh? 😂

For those who love the sauce. Here ya go. Big mac sauce. 1/2 cup mayo 1 and 1/2 tsp of yellow mustard. Same amount of mustard vinegar from bottle (so don't shake mustard bottle.) 1 large cap of white vinegar 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp paprika 1 large tablespoon of gherkin relish 1/2 tsp corn starch. Mix all ingredients except for gherkin in a bowl or food processor until well mixed.. taste. Now add gherkin mix and stir in well.. and retaste.. Now fridge for an hour before serving. Taste again. Enjoy..

They offered that quarter pounder big Mac at some locations for a limited time, previously. So, for you to go for that, Daym, it might inspire others to go for it & make McD's offer that as a regular item(resulting in a cheaper price, obviously).

This was an actual sandwich years ago in Alaska call the "McKinley Mac". Tried it years ago locally. It's definitely worth it. A whole new level of delicious.

I do the big mac with a side of 1/4 pounder patty with cheese and seasoning. Transfer the tiny patty to the other tiny patty then put the 1/4 patty up top, as it should be!

I work at McDonald's and yes. We got rid of the frozen quarter meat. We now use fresh meat that is in the fridge. I just started working there 3 months ago but I've been handling fresh meat since my first day so I'm guessing they've had it for a while now. The bacon smokehouse is my go to. So good

The original 15 cent hamburger is all they had when they created the Big Mac. I love that version . McDonalds needs to put more Mac sauce on the Big Mac. If you want beef order 2 1/4 lb er’s like a Big Mac , save ya money 💰

It was done in Alaska for a long time; the called it the McKinley Mac. Came with the meal deal fries and a drink for $10.75. They got that name from Mt. McKinley one of, if not one of the highest mountain peaks in North America.

This is actually old, years ago when I was younger, I used to work at Mickey-D’s and we had a cool manager and this is where they used to give you free lunch on them after a certain time of being on the clock.. anyway I use to do this and I use to make double McDLT’s bomb.. our manager was cool.. yes this is old school. Nobody never asked for it but we use to make it ourselves for our break time.. and grab a hand full of freshly made chicken nuggets and put regular mustard on the side😋 bomb!!

We don't have the quarter pounder here in the McDonald's but recently they "upgraded" the sauce, bun and sacue are both better. A burger is about 25 CNY, 35 for a Big Mac Meal that includes the burger, fries, a coke and 5 McNuggets.

I grew up on Big Mac's as a kid. Then the Double Big Mac became my go to. But then i graduated to the Whopper and Double Whopper. I've always felt that McDonald's needed to beef up their Big Mac's with something like their Angus patties. This is definitely sometbing I wanna try! That Quater Pounder Big Mac looks the way a Big Mac should!

Here in the frozen North of Alaska we have had that quarter pound BigMac here in Alaska of all places😳 Can’t remember the exact date, but it started out as the McKinley Mac 10-15 years ago and when they re-named Mt. McKinley to Mt. Denali McDonalds re-name the burger the Denali Mac!!!! It has been and will be my go-to burger from McDonalds!!!!! Been eating it what seems like forever, good to see the lower 48 catching up for a change🤪 As usually we are 2 years behind the trends, lol!! Love your content and keep rockiN😎

I used to work at McDonald's. I don't like the sauce but I used to make my big Mac with no sauce but I would put quarter meat on it with added tomato and bacon. I would also use the slivered onions instead of those dehydrated ones.

Order a sausage McMuffin and a sausage & egg McMuffin… Unwrap that sausage McMuffin and pop the top off… then unwrap the sausage and egg McMuffin… … and set it right on top of that sausage McMuffin. So that is actually called a Denali Mac, Not sure if it's sold elsewhere, but it's promoted in Alaska. For me the Denali Mac is waaaaaaaay better, especially with extra sauce.
