Since we only have Hesburger out of those three in the Åland Islands, I dont have much choice, but my very limited experience with McDonalds from trips to Sweden is not good!
Dunno where you get your burgers (and fries) but personally bk blows rest out of the sea. Also bk fries are completely next level to mushy ones from hesburger (or mac)
Hesburger is on my list of places to eat at when I get back to Finland from Texas. I have enjoyed the meals I have gotten the 2 or 3 times I have been to Hesburger. It is also fun to see what different food options that McDonald's has in Finland compared to the US.
I was in the US nearly twenty years ago, and once I went to a McDonalds early in the morning and I was surprised by their breakfast thing: before a certain time (was it 11 am?) you cannot even order the normal things (like a big mack), the menu is completely different. I had never seen that in Finland.
@@pev_ McDonalds is the most popular place for Americans to get their breakfast in the morning. Mainly because the breakfast menu has a lot of items that are good for eating on the go (like in the car). It is the breakfast menu only until 10:30 AM except for Sundays. Then it is 11 AM. For the McDonalds that are open 24 hours they service both the breakfast menu and regular menu at the same time starting at 11 PM until 2 or 3 AM. From then to 10:30 AM it is breakfast only. A few years ago McDonalds start serving the most popular breakfast items all day long. Breakfast for dinner, no problem. I think they may have change this because of COVID-19 but I am sure they will go back to all day breakfast when things go back to normal. There is another fast food chain here called Sonic (think 1950s/1960s American drive ins) that services breakfast items and regular menu item every hour they are open. It you want a hamburger at 7 AM. They can do it.
I absolutely LOVE Hesburger. Burger King is a nice change tho too. I've never liked McDonald's and we've always gone to Hesburger or other burger joints before Mc.
The order in which the fillings are in the burger and how big the pieces are makes a big difference. You get two very different tasting burgers using the same ingredients when you put them in different order and in different size pieces.
Mine has similar orange on about the same position as theirs and it's just telling the freezer is working. It goes away when the freezer gets into the right temperature again. Or it could be the fridge's light, same principle.
My fridge is pretty similar and from the same manufacturer. Unless they have chaged the order or meaning of them then on the middle is a green light meaning it's turned on. On the left is an orange light which means you have the "quick freeze" setting on and on the right is a red warning light indicating the temperature in the freezer is too high (either it's not working or you have left the door open).
Hesburger has the best burgers mostly because of the sauce but Burger King has free soda refills and you can substitute fries for onion rings for free. McDonalds doesn't really have anything special.
i also prefer Hesburger in Estonia, the pickle mayo and the juicyness is the key there, burgerking kinda deepfries everything, and McD has signature sauce ketchup. the the best combo meal is, Hesburgers Megaburger, Mc's Big fries and KFC Big Wing bucket.
Hesburger has been my favourite for years, and I always get Kerroshampurilainen when I go to Finland! But here in the UK I prefer McDonald's to Burger King 🍟🍔 and now I am hungry lol
I had to order my very 1st chicken burger today and I decided to go with Burger Kings Crispy Chicken. Don't regret it at all. It's probably my favourite burger of all time from any fast food restaurant. Thanks !
@@harjatalonen3467 Haven't tried that yet but I think I have to 😄 It's just that whenever I go to BK, I know that I'll never be disappointed with the Steakhouse meal so I always opt for that one 😂
When I used to eat red meat, I liked the Hesburger ones. Now, I prefer the McVegan, I didn't like Hesburger's vegan/vegetarian versions almost at all. McDonalds has the best milkshakes too. But just got to taste a Naughty Burger and I'm not a big burger eater at all but boy, that was good!
For me it's Hesburger that is the winner, always get my burgers from there when I'm visiting childhood home. But when I'm at home in Norway I go for Mc Donalds. Burger King is not good at all.
You are such a lovely couple :) Good communication and humour together. Great vid! I'd choose McDonalds for the chickenburger and the double cheeseburger but Hesburger for the kerroshampurilainen.
In McDonalds the box and wrapping paper tastes better than hamburgers. If I have to choose between death by starvation or eating McD. food, the death sounds quite good option.
I use Hesburger the most because for me it's easiest to get to, even when i am on the road. Burger Kings are often in the city center where i usually never go.
My hometown didn't get burger king until maybe three years ago, and it's stationed about 10km away, so it's still kinda "new and fancy" for me. First time I ever ate in bk was actually in London a few years back. I've been in bk maybe five times total, so usually when someone asks which one I prefer I go with burger king. Just because their burgers still taste "new" for me, where as I've eaten in "hese" and "mäkkäri" countless times. Which one's the best, that's a bit complicated though because in hesburger there's really not that much of variety. Kerroshampurilainen (and megahampurilainen) are good but really casual burgers and if it's beef burgers you want that's pretty much what you have to get. So much better than mcdonalds big mac, but then again "mäkkäri" usually have some of their "special" burgers on the menu aswell, which I choose anyway, so overall I'm more likely to go to mcdonalds than hesburger or burger king.
Hesburger all the way. I've given McDonald's plenty of chances over the years and tasted a ot of their menu but I always end up being disappointed. Burger King on the other hand surprised me. Especially their chicken burgers have this kind of fresh take on things which I like. However, Burger King mayos aren't that good so as a meal with fries and mayo Hesburger easily wins over Burger King. I do like Burger King over McDonald's and if we only account for the chicken burgers then Burger King is the chicken king. The other two just can't quite get the crispy chicken right and their taste is kind of tame.
U should try a burger king's big king because its is a more similar to big mac and kerroshampurilainen than whopper, even whopper is mote popular and burger king's most popular burger
I'm not a big fan of Hesburger burgers (or fries), except the Ruishampurilainen. I think for me it's the insane amount of mayo they put in their burgers and I'm not the biggest fan of any kind of sauces for salads, burgers, steaks etc. But I gotta admit the Hese kanahampurilainen looked really delicious! Nowadays I prefer Burger King over McDonald's. But if I want a cheeseburger, I'll definitely go grab McDonald's ones! Maybe you could test french fries next? I think Burger King still got the sweet potato fries. They're the best with garlic dip!
Hessburger is better then Mc donalds, their fries taste fish and are so soft, not fries crisp at all. Burger king is okay. But, Hesburger is the winner, easy... 👏
in latvia, liepaja we have 3 hesburgers and like 200 km away is a mcdonalds so i prefer hesburger but the best thing from mcdonalds are the spiciy mcnugets
I used to go to Hesburger to have the Fish Burger, but they dont sell that anymore ( super sad face) so now i usually just go to Burger King to eat the Crispy Chicken Burger.
McDonalds campaing burgers are sometimes sooooooo good. As right now there's this Jamaican beef again (tasted first a year ago) and it's absolutelly excellent.
Hesburger for the more "basic" hamburgers(cheeseburger, kerros etc.) but McDonalds for the special ones. And I don't go to BK that often and I've only eaten The Whopper there so idk.
I would always go for McDonalds if the nearest one wasn't a 30 minute drive from me... Hesburger and Burger King are only about a 10 minute drive, so I will usually go to Hesburger. But to be honest, I barely buy any burgers or other such fast food nowadays.
I myself, even thought burger King has not been around for very long do prefer it! I love how they cook their steaks differently, I think it is tastier, but hesburger chicken nuggets are my favourite on the other hand so! Mc Donald's was what I most commonly had as a kid when eating fast food but it didn't really stuck to me 😂
I generally order the plant beef burger from Max, here in Sweden. I find it juicier than the real deal, and I really dislike grizzly/hard bits, which it's 100% free of.
It would be interesting if you did these videos in Finnish as well. You'd learn more too! Personally, I'm not about cooking/taste tasting etc, but with language involved, it'd be fun.
We have Harveys Burger here in Alberta Canada i like them best They are flame broiled and you order what you want on them So custom made to your taste and A& W is good too A&W has best fries and is known rootbeer.
We dont have Burgerking and Hesburger here has only one glutenfree and its not something you want to eat. With McDonalds you can take allmost sny burger glutenfree so that has to bee my choice. No other option.
@@mariajunesart2994 Yes like I said I know it came back. All I said was she thought Burger King wasn’t in Finland before but it was in the 80’s like I said before.
@@wanhapatu But it's still too dominant. It's almost all you can taste. At least it is like that here in Finland. The onion is bland, cant taste the beef and the sauce is boring. But if you like smoke. You most definately got it.
Mcdonalds and Burger King. Burger King's fries are better than Hesburger's and Mcdonalds in my opinion. I really rarely eat Hesburger's hamburgers, because they quit Carrols and they put mayonnaise every hamburger and too much of it(in my opinion). But i do like some of the Hesburger's hamburgers as well. For example their chicken burgers are delicious.
It really depends on what I want to eat. If its with a meat patty I usually prefer BK over the others but there is something about the doubble cheese burger from Mc Donalds that is so good in my opinion. As for the chicken burgers the hesburgers is the best but BK a close second
I rarely eat from any of these. We never did when I grow up, so never formed that habit :) BUT when I do, I would hands down anytime choose Burger King over the others. I just love all foods tasting smoked and that's kinda BK signature thing 🙂 Usually I order whopper with cheese but sometimes something else.
I've also NEVER had a chicken burger from Hesburger, which seems to be quite normal thing since almost everyone I know take meat burgers, like Kerros etc. McD's I only take McFlurries. 😂 Burger King is yet to try.
McDonald's. They're the only one that has variety if you're gluten free, and won't charge extra. Unlike Hesburger that only has one Gluten Free Meal and nothing else, or Burger King that will charge you of every little change.
Well, I live in Turku, so I'm obligated to say I prefer Hesburger. (And I actually _do,_ at least over McD. Think I've only ever been to a BK a couple times, can't say too much with just that)
