Sharife Cooper and McEachern take on Cade Cunningham, Scottie Barnes, and the Montverde Eagles at Springfield College for the last ESPN game of the 2020 Hoophall Classic.
@@factualz2438 You'd be surprised, my man. This team right now is likely better than some D1 schools. Probably only the worst ones of course. Just look at the recent FIBA U-19 World Cup for example. Cade Cunningham and Scottie Barnes were starters and got big minutes on the gold-medal winning USA team, over guys that were/are established NCAA starters. In 10 months Sharpe and Moody will be starters on North Carolina and Arkansas. I'd be surprised if the 350th best D1 team would beat them.
The Truth I would love to know how you think d3 players could beat a starting 5 that could enter the draft if they could. Not saying there going to come in and dominate but at least be selected. When d3 players are most likely to never play professional ever.
He got chance moore a 5star who transfered but cant start due to rules and dylan cardwell a top center but cant play yet and cameron mcdowell which is number 3 and randy brady who holds offers from Florida vandy...etc. he got players they just need find themselves
bro is it just me or would Sharife really benefit from having trae young range and confidence, need to shoot more against these teams with 6foot+ dudes in damn near all positions. Just my 2cents
@@jac.quezzz4495 It's easy to assume that. But don't act like Jalen suggs, Chet and that Hercy dude wouldn't put in work. The game I'd wanna see is Montverde vs Wasatch Academy
I wouldn't even compare this Montverde to the big 3 Warriors, they're more like the god squad you build on 2k. Then add in good coaching and this team would've cruised to the Geico national championships.
Mceachern got blowed out because they didn’t play full court man it slows montverde down and make them dribble only Scottie and cunningham make this team run
Montverde done dubbed both IMG & McEachern twice already this year those teams shouldn’t have to play Montverde anymore for the rest of the season😂🤦🏽♂️
Since coach Kevin Boyle came onto the scene at Montverde Academy...They have won 4 national championships.. Sent more players to the NBA in the first round then any high school team in the nation. Every year they are in the mix to win national titles. Last year they had a chance to win another national title but lost to IMG on a last second basket in the GEICO high school basketball national tournament. IMG went onto win the national title.
Mr54nomore everyone wants to come to MVA , they are coming from all over the country and world. Not only is there basketball team good but also their soccer team held the longest winning streak at 114 wins for 6 years.
@@anthonybrown5522 You are correct! Their soccer team has been extra ordinary and sent dozens of students to colleges, university and even the pros. Montverde is an international school with students from around the world. Most of their soccer players come from Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa. They also have players on their famed basketball team from around the world too. Peace!
Straight up!!! Watch a full game on these hyped stars and see that we are blinded by highlight tapes....but these guys are young and have room for improvement
1toknow Monteverde academy is pretty serious. Also helps that Montverde is literally next to the city of Clermont which is pretty popular with all kinds of athletes that come to train here.
They played the game MVA wanted them to play(again) and got beat. This is when good coaching comes into play and the little simple things matter most. Like "boxing out"(every time) or "setting a solid screen". Little things you let slip in practice come back to bite you. I've seen Sharife play live and from the 1st time I saw him I thought he was very lackadaisical. Not agressive enough. WAY TOO PASSIVE!! It's no reason they couldn't have had a game plan coming into this 2nd meeting. Sharife is pretty good but he has no idea how to win nor does his team which is a complete reflection of leadership overall.
