McFarlane Toys BATMAN, ROBIN & BATMOBILE '66 Retro Collection (2021) 

The Mattel Batmobile was big enough for the figures to completely seat down inside while still being in scale.

The 4 episodes (2 series), of the Batman 66, where Batman and Robin meet the Green Hornet and Kato will always be my favorites from that show!! RIP Adam West, and Bruce Lee!!

Watch out for Robin’s arm. Mine broke out of package. The joint it was glued at was very brittle and it popped right off. I love the onomatopoeia! The Batmobile is about 1” too short. If there were just a smidge bigger they would fit in the car better. It looks good. I almost wish the molded seats weren’t there. I’d prefer if the seat were more flat. I like the tires. The bats should be red on the hub caps I think. I think your right about the red siren should have been translucent. The hand on the outside is how I positioned them. But if the seat wasn’t there they fit lower. It’s okay. My favorite 1/12th vehicle is the Mattel Big Sounds Mach 5 and Shooting Star. They are more stylized to the movie but enough of a look like the cartoon to enjoy. That KITT is fantastic! There is a handle on the steering wheel that you can put the hand in without having to stretch out the hand to hold. It’s Batman & Robin and Batmobile for less than $70. Not bad.

Thank you Michael for this video reviewing these iconic 1966 Batman TV series toys. I missed Adam West a lot too. Such a great human being and awesome actor that sadly is no longer with us. I miss Yvonne Craig "Batgirl" as well. I had such a crush on her when I was a child. I have the series on DVD and I never get tired of watching it. To me there's no Batman but, Adam West. He is Batman, the only Batman!! I have a lot of Batman action figures including the first ones that came out from the 1966 TV series that came out a couple years ago. I need to get me these too. Btw, I do have that vintage Michael Knight with the 1980s talking KITT car🙏🏼👍

Thank you for this review, Michael. Yes, McFarlane Toys and NECA have come a long way....most def they are still don't have the QC that the bigger companies have, but they're getting there. It's a good time to be an adult collector.

The McFarland 66 Batmobile is undersized for the figures. These figures match perfectly with the 66 Batmobile from Mattel.

Holy Michael, it's teh McFarlane Toys Batman, Robin & Batmobile '66 Retro Collection (2021). Wow, that is so cool, Batman, Robin, Batmobile and Batcave look really good, the colors and details are fantasitc, atriculation are spot on for Retro feel. It's awesome. Great video.

I know this is kinda LATE in the game here, but--hey-- I just snagged the figures and Batmobile off E-bay a few days ago!----- if you have moderate 'toy-customizing skills'--- you can make the Batmobile more capable of holding the figures in it RIGHT! Simply unscrew the two halves of the body, and... either with a small rotary tool--- OR a nice sharp utility knife, cut off the bottoms of the seats and the little section of 'floor-board' under them! The figures will then sit in the car PERFECT! AND-- (bonus!)-- this is all (the missing seat-bottoms. I mean!) practically INVISIBLE, once the figures are 'seated' It's not that the car is 'out-of-scale', it's just that the figures sit too high in it, with the seat-bottoms in the interior! Hope this helps all the 'disappointed-Bat-ride-freaks' out there! Live Long and Prosper everybody!!!!!

Best Batman next to Keaton!! The figures look cool, wonder if they'll do a variant of Batman with the coffee stain.. Bat Mobile looks great! Totally reminds me of those hunks of plastic vehicles we had as kids. The bendy plastic is great for the extended pieces, but to bad they don't sit a bit deeper. Great review! Love the 66 Batman tv series and when I saw this collection at Walmart I knew I had to have them. So far have the Batcave, Batmobile, Batman & the Joker. Can't find Robin though to complete my set. I've looked at 6 different Walmart stores. They always have Batman & Joker but never any Robin figures! I will keep searching.

I got that Batman and Robin as well but instead of tht Batmobile I got the Mattel one in that scale. It's a little bigger which I think looks better with the figures but its super expensive now (I got it right before it jumped in price). It was a bit hard to get the figures buckled in to my batmobile but it's fine since they are likely to remain display only.

Mattel also did a 1/12 or 6" scale one that is quite nice and was very affordable at the time.

awesome review . I have the batman and joker so far from this line but I want the batcave and batmobile. I did show that new version of batman in the old mattel batmobile and he does sit a little nicer as his head isn't above the windshield but both look amazing . I have never heard of Hardcastle & McCormick and the Coyote X but looks like a sweet car to have in that scale too.

It would have been nice to have more articulation with the figures and scale for the batmobile. Mattel's batmobile is in scale with the figures and has more detail on it.

Mike, I actually saw this series last week at a Target. The Batmobile looked great and I almost bought the dio set to use as a background for my pics.👍. Only figure they had there was the Joker and he looked awesome as well. I wished I knew you wanted him or I would have picked him up for you.👍

Suggest buy the mezco 5 points batman 66 set , so much better batmobile thats to scale with the 3.75 figs

Michael, love the Batmobile, and the Batman: Robin action figures you showed us today. What scale size would you say they are? I have a few different 1966 Batmobile's and would love to add this one to my collection. What is the name of the company that makes this Batmobile, and the name of the company that makes the Batman and Robin? I want to see if I can find these same figures and car!

Yes brother I got my Batmobile God bless Adam West Burt Ward I know the cast of the TV show problem is McFarlane Toys garbage I'll stop by McFarlane Toys in the 90s when spawn was hot even the car is kind of garbage but it's made for kids only reason why but mine's is the iconic George Barris Batmobile that's why the big Batman vehicle fan if you're that excited about the Batmobiles you should look into the Jada toy line and the Maddie collectors Batmobile PS of the videos keep up the good work

Batmobile is too small. The figures shouldn't sit so far above the windscreen. Get the Mattel Batmobile for these figures and you're good to go.

The action figure doesn't seem to be the right scale for the car.
