His height does fit for 1/12 scale, given that Martian stands at 6’7”. Used him to be a part of my mafex hush line

I live in Canada and believe me Toys r Us isn't that great for getting new products onto the shelves as quickly as you think. Plus their prices here are quite high. I prefer shopping at Game Stop.

The face sculpt just does not match the body. The body is more realistic with texture and the head is just so cartoony. It does not match the body. I wouldn't care if the head sculpt looks the way it does but it needs to match the rest of the body. Then there's the damn scale issue. At this point why are none of McFarlanes really in scale with one another? I wanna like these figures so much more but McFarlane uses ugly joints, figures don't scale with one another, proportions are weird, sculpts are weird if not bad. I just want McFarlane to step up and do better quality.

Agreed completely, I keep watching reviews of McFarlanes DC stuff because it would be sooooo nice to be able to get DC figs and not have to go premium (Mezco, Mafex, etc.) but they just keep disappointing. Every time he makes one or some that seem to be trending towards much better, he makes these weird style and design decisions. The scaling is a big deal (to me especially), despite what people say. Scale within the line is imperative. Doesn't have to scale with other lines, but within the line is a must. The ugly ball joints are a turn off every time I look at them. I have maybe 4 or 5 of these figs that I cherry picked because they are cool big monster types, or to scavenge for customs, but that's about as far as I can go with his stuff. I also have noticed the reason why he can still sell figs for 19.99, he cuts a lot of corners and plastic quality is pretty bad. The figs do not have crotches, just an overlay covering up the joints, accessories are usually minimal, and if he can cover something up, you will get even less figure (just like Brad showed with that Hush figure under the trench coat, Hideous and lazy!) Good thing about this MM though, is that because he is way too short for McFarlane, he fits in great with old school DCUC and Mafex/Mezco DC figs, so there's that...

Because he's smaller than the usual McFarlane DC Multiverse figure, would you say he'd fit in with the Mattel DCUC/Multiverse figures? Because J'onn _is_ one of the taller members of the League at 6' 7", so it might work?

I skipped him due to scale. Hope I don't regret it, as now I feel we have a comic book Flash and Batman and slowly will get a classic JL team

The trunks aren't actually new if you look at it. It's still reused. I would say the figure is 90% reuse and 10% new sculpt with the cape and harness. I do agree I wish there was a boot swivel also do you have any information when these will ship in the US?

Touch a little silicone shock oil on the edge of the peg and it slides in easily, I rotate it around a little to spread it around after

The look is so much better because the other version's pants go so much higher, makes the chest look too short and overall make his proportion look wonky. I guess that was a sacrifice to have some torso articulation instead of this one that the harness in the chest it's very very tight fit .I don't know ... I like the classic more but there is some choice there to be made of what you prefer of articulation or looks ... It's just too bad that it's an exclusive as you said ,because us international collectors never get a fair chance to get those because GameStop doesn't take international cards so I just can't buy those and Target doesn't either.

I want both of these Martian manhunter figures but I could never find them at stores near me. Batman, green lantern (john stewart) and manhunter are my top 3 favorite dc characters. My 4th would have to be jonah hex from the comics which I wish Mcfarlane would make a figure of

Really my only criticism is that I wish we got a pair of fists and a pair of flight hands. I wish McFarlane gave us more repaints. No body else is giving us the amount of unique sculpting and articulation outside of maybe GI Joe

It is true that the Martian Manhunter glows with ultraviolet light, because I looked at a picture and I think if it glows or I don't know, someone tried to do that or is it a version that glows or do all the figures of the Martian Manhunter glows??? Could you check if it shines or not?

I pre-ordered two, not sure what I'm doing with him yet because I'm pretty happy with the custom figure I made. Definitely going to keep one in the box to display that way, may keep the 2nd to open and/or customize or just return it, I guess we'll see

I preordered this version from Target but went ahead & bought the first version because I’m a big Martian Manhunter fan. McFarlane Toys messed up the height but he can shape shift, perhaps he wanted to fit in a Prius ;)

It really upset me that McFarlane messed up the scale of two of my favorite DC Characters, MM and Demon. The head on MM is tiny as well. Plus Lobo was made too tall.
