Yes, you got it! It's like POV, She Falls Asleep and DGAO are different parts and points of view of the same story. It is brilliant. It blows my mind how they wrote such different and amazing songs at different times (even though 2 of them are from r:a) and connect them and make them so deep. Proud to be a fan.
I love these two songs, and Mcfly is an amazing band to watch live... you should definitely go to one of their shows! I'm from Colombia, they have never come here (and I don't expect them to, tbh xD!) So I had to go to Brasil to see them perform live, and let me tell you, it was totally worth! The best concert of my life.
It’s a pretty messed up story but it is something that happens. It seems to be more of an overview but if you look at the lyrics the full picture is there and it’s pretty bad. She falls asleep: the woman’s perspective leading up to her death Down goes another one: the man’s perspective after her death looking back on all the warning signs Basically the story is the woman had a horrible upbringing and finds a man she loves deeply and promises he will always be there for her if she needs him, and during this she’s spiralling deeper and deeper into a depression. He goes out seemingly with friends and she calls him because she needs him but because he’s out partying he ignores her call. In the woman’s mind she sees this as he doesn’t actually love her and it’s what causes her to break and end it because she doesn’t have anything else to live for. Down goes another one is him recovering from what happened but he can’t stay sober as when he does all he can see is her whether that be her body (which is hinted at that he finds) or her shadow walking around outside yet when he turns to her he’s reminded she’s no longer there so he turns to alcohol to drown out his feelings. Hence “down goes another one”- it’s referencing the man developing a serious alcohol problem due to horrendous guilt over the fact he ignored that one call that could’ve saved her life. It’s lyrically probably their best songs solely for the story behind them, and it’s something not many artists are willing to touch upon as the topics are very triggering
The way that the songs connect to each other is brilliant, just for watching the reaction I got tears in my eyes. love both songs and how you already said, Mcfly live has an energy from another world 🔆

Can someone tell me what is the intro song? I can't figure out and it is driving me crazy. (It is like once a soap opera in Brazil played the intro of Do Ya for the day to night transitions with a sunset clip several times per episode and it sounded so familiar but I could NOT figure out what it was then in the very last chapter they played the transition and continued the song after the sunset clip and I could not BELIEVE I didn't figure out by myself.)
