As a Spurs fan, was a good game, but top 4 race isn't over. We have a rough pasture of fixtures in april while villa have them spread out. Think Kamara was a big miss for you guy this game considering how stable the midfield looks when he plays. Also McGinn's red card may seem harsh but if you consider that the ball was past him and it's reckless with the challenge being knee height (if Udogie hadn't jumped he would've injured his knee), it's a red card. Don't know who's taking 4th, but we all know it's not bloody United.
Ill discipline by players is an absolute killer to fans. Not only does it cost the team in terms of the current game, but they then missed further games with suspension and when they come back into the side they take a week or so to get to the pace of the game. Ill discipline is just so toxic to the team. Villa were still in the game until the red card.
Because McGinn was the only one trying doesn't mean he can do dangerous tackles and get away with it. It was certainly a straight Red card and if Villa appeal it then it makes the whole club look untrustworthy.
Second best all over the pitch. Put it down to tiredness but Spurs were the better side. Ajax on Thursday now has added importance followed by West Ham away where we haven’t won since they moved to the London Stadium. Season at a crossroads.
as a spurs fan, it was a pretty close game in the first half. villa were arguably the better side and created the better chances. don't know what happened in the second half though

I think they were crying that they lost both star CBs, two starting midfielders in Maddison and Bissouma. Most Spurs fans actually thought they played with great spirit down 2 men a kept Chelsea to draw until late in the game. Far from a beating and every Spurs player exerted maximum effort until final whistle. Unlike Villa today (except McGinn who tried a little too hard)
