Papachin is there by any chance in future your going to make other flame colors like green one for chemical fire and so on?

@@Papapachin i was looking into flame colors thinking why not start it red into green since flame thrower can be literally o.o anycolor i forgot they release that magic flame that can turns flames into rainbow colors... oooooo now theres a good idea as well

It's strong but it's really hard to tell. You don't get the damage numbers with the skill name, the 80 potency is a misleading number since it ticks once a second instead of every 3 seconds and it limits mobility for some reason. Still don't know why they added that last limitation.

@@Tsuki_Konbu Yeah that's very true. It ticks so fast compared to the other dots in the game so it's way stronger than people would think of from a dot where you can't move. Guess they figured the not moving was to balance out it being so strong?

@@Tsuki_Konbu I'm more curious why it can't work like DNC's spinning dance in PvP (basically the same thing except you can move). Originally, I figured a lot of these "channeled" abilities couldn't have mobility due to spaghetti code tech issues, but it seems they've fixed that via PvP (in addition, casting while moving is now possible as shown by BRD and MCH PvP), so it's odd that Flamethrower remains a stationary ability when it has no reason to remain as such.

The blue is ceruleum flame. Ceruleum is used to power magitek. North Thanalan has a processing plant for it. So Eorzean's could use it too.

@@XainEisenhart Oh definitely, there's a company in MSQ/side content I forget the name of and they do major cereleum pumping, so magitek is probably fairly common in Eorzea if you have a bit of extra money. I was just going off about how I love when a story world has official or fan-made details that make the little things you don't even think about make more sense. I don't know if it's still canon, but in Star Wars the X-Wing was actually once an imperial prototype, but the Rebels stole the recipe and started making them for themselves while the Y-Wing is a retrofitted bomber from the Clone Wars. It isn't as important as the big plot but it's something that helps the world feel more real and consistent and I love that in stories.
