You guys, Mclaren's social media managers, are understanding so good what the audience want from an F1 channel. Backstage content.. No music.. Love every single video
T BZ mclaren is one of the tops f1 teams. Fact. With williams and ferrari, they are the essence of f1. All teams have bad moments. But theyre coming back. And i say this as an italian ferrari fan.
Rishi Shankar R The entire team is proud of what they do I think, I would be if they can disassemble a whole garage+team trailer ( more team building!) and reassemble it all within 1/2 weeks. 😁
I can confirm that the truck seen in the video, its very comfortable to drive even at longer distance (I've driven one of those). of course naturally when got 2 drivers, you get tired less likely when got someone to talk with.
Cynderfan35 if it weren’t for the fact I’ve got a permanent job, I’d love to give it a go myself, but it’s only seasonal work....., yep I’m a Hgv driver
People talk about how adding more races to the calendar will worn out the drivers (specially back to back weekends) but imagine what would do to this guys. Amazing display of logistics.
@George actually there's a great video (forget the name) about the logistics of Formula 1 transport. They literally work 6 days a week during the entire season to transport and set up and break down. It take 3 days to set up everything for a race. Don't forget about all the logistics for when everything needs to be flown halfway across the world. The gist of the video shows that it takes the entire two weeks to get everything from one place to another and set up. So when there's only week long breaks it's a logistical nightmare.
@@xsandpathx F1 is struggling to stay alive at the moment they need to make some serious changes to increase viewership again. I doubt throwing millions and millions of dollars at adding more races is going to solve the problem
Well, yeah. Didn't you hear the guy at the beginning talking about working around the guests? Who in the world was hanging out in the Haas motorhome? They probably starting breaking it down 10 minutes after the race ended. LOL
I’m always amazed logistically what an amazing job these f1 teams do day in day out for 21 races a season! Everything is so precise, packed so methodically, down to each tool.
Impressive to see how much goes on behind the scenes to make these races happen! I respect those guys so much because I know how hard a work-environment like this can be...
The relax side of F1, driving a team truck from one place to another. Although this is the last european race, we have to say goodbye to the trucks for now. Great job guys!
And without all these humble people behind the scenes (truck drivers, assembly and disassembly crews, logistics personnell, etc etc.) we wouldnt get to see races at all. Thank you all for your continued hard work!
I was lucky enough by McLaren to be up close and watch them in Monaco 2018. It was 25% completed when I left for the night. The next morning bagel in hand they had the whole pit garage built. Genuinely incredible!!!!!
This vids are perfect. That people must be proud of the job they do. No one thinks in that and they are the first flat of an enormous building. Congrats mclaren, wish to see you soon on the podium
Usually, they do. I remember back in 2013 seeing a convoy Williams, Lotus, Red Bull and Toro Rosso trucks one by one when I stopped for a rest. Think it was after the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Pride in the products. Pride in what they do, and attention to detail. Awesome video and well done those men/women who make it all happen so seamlessly.
Brilliant content, love seeing stuff like this. Less than 24 hours between the car finishing the race to it being transported to the next one, that's quite incredible.
This is how social media should be done! Feel like you are there, with the boys and girls doing all the work, who you usually do not get to see...during build-off, transfer and build-up. Music would only distract from the video content and the experience of being there. I like how McLaren is presented as one big team, and not just two drivers. If Ryan (my favourite F1 truck driver ;) messes up there might be no McLaren F1 cars at Monza. I do not think McLaren have some spare cars ready that they can fly in on short notice.
Got my truck license recently and get to drive a volvo fh now, tbh to be a truck driver in f1 for a team or for f1 itself would be an absolute dream come true
Thank you McLaren for the video. Please keep posting interesting stuff like this from "behind the scenes" more often. These people operating the lorry and in charge of the logistics deserve more credit and recognition for their work. Bravo, guys. Good luck for the weekend and remaining eight races. Thank you for inviting Fernando Alonso to the paddock for Monza. Wish he could get back to F1. All the best to Norris and Sainz.
Amazing work these people do before and after the races. Love watching these videos. My hats off to all the people who work to make things look flawless during a race weekend. 👏
Dear people at McLaren, After the horrible way you treated Honda, I slowly started to dislike you up to the point that I ended up despising the team. Now it's 2019 and with a new, non toxic driver lineup, a wiser approach to social media, and a closer relationship to your fans, I must say, not only do I like you again, I freaking love you guys. I wish the best to you all, and hope you can keep improving for like, forever.
Mclaren are saints in how they treated honduh compared to how red poo treated Renault. Renault won them 8 championships and they way how it was repaid to them was borderline criminal.
The sights they see are amazing while driving from destination to destination. Thanks for sharing some of it, and the insight about how all the things in the background come about - that never really gets talked about.
You really have to appreciate how much pride and professionalism goes into that portion of the trucking industry for the race car circuit. You wouldn’t find too many drivers like that over here in Canada that are dressed as professionals and act as professionals. The trucks they have over there are absolutely amazing! I would give almost anything to have a Cabover truck like that over here in Canada. I can only imagine how amazing those trucks are in regards to fuel economy. Hats off to you guys over there, very well done! 5:35 5:37
What a cool insight into something that is probably overlooked, just makes you appreciate the mammoth task of dismantling the setup and moving it to another race meet, hopefully see it in its glory some day. Come on Lando!!
Great insight to the work done by these guys. They appear to be on the move as soon as a race finishes. Kudos to them for getting the trucks packed up ready for the next one so quickly. Love watching this type of video.
I would have loved a little bit more of the action unpacking and packing stuff than the road trip itself but the quality is superb! Congrats and this is coming from a Tifosi.
