MV Agusta's new Brutale 1078RR has the engine from the F4 RR312 superbike crammed into its tinny, sexy chassis.
But it's not just its 154bhp and 166-plus mph top speed, which sets this apart from any Brutale built before, the best bit is that it's smoother and easier to ride than ever.

@cxbra i have ridden a few of the old fireblades, good bikes! My speed triple is similar in that the hp isnt huge but the torque is awsome!

I honestly like the look of the ducati streetfighter...is this bike leaps and bounds ahead of it? Here in America they cost about the same but i hardly hear of agusta

Agusta makes one of the most beautyful motorcycles ever made, makes Japanese bikes look like chinese mopeds designed by a 90 yo blind drug addict that is getting a heart surgery while smoking a bong

Never tested the 1078, but I think very few people can push it to the limit. And no one on the road.

@gixxerbones Nice. I would kill to have a 600, im stuck w/ minibikes at the moment hahahaha. One day though. I have ridden modded Banshee's for a few years so I think I could handle a 600 (I have a smooth throttle hand). My dream bike would be a 94-'00 cbr900rr, they only make about 20 hp more than the new 600's of today, but a shitload of torque off idle. I've been on the back of one, very stable ride.

i think he means the F4 CC, and yes that one costs around 100k. Its all carbon fiber from chassis to body, and a +200hp engine. (184kg, 368ponds). 20.000 you can get a brutale but not a superbike.

ciao italiano, where do you live, italy? i do no man, but i belguim the superbikes start at 22.399€ for the F4 312 1+1, the F4 312RR 1+1 (1078cc) cost 23.299€ and those 2 are the superbikes with the lowest price. the brutale starts at 16.299 for the 989 and 18.999 for the 1078rr. my choise goes for the F4-1000 Senna and that one goes for 29.999€ And these prices are €€€, i was telling the prices before in dollars

Ciao!! I live in belgium. They only have 4 mv dealers here, and there is no mv under the 20.000€, only brutales are less than 20.000€. But now you've Ducati streetfighter, way better than the brutale. As for me, i cant afford italian bikes, to expensive for me.

1€ is equal to 1.35dollars at the moment. so i thaught it 22.399€ is like +30.000dollars. Maybe it could be that they are cheaper there i do no.

Maybe you could buy the F4 750cc for less than 20.000€ in the time i do no, but they dont make them any more.

My wife says I'm not allowed to have one because we've better things to spend the money on. Can't think what she means, handbags or designer shoes I suppose. Oh yeah...the mortgage. Bugger! Looks like I'll have to stick with my Street Triple.
