If he really was a hero, he'd want to be as human as he can get, without giving up his tremendous abilities. He'd be like Data from Star Trek. Then the whole timeline with ultron being a hero could make sense.
He'd be a "hero" until his programming deems a race or planet as a threat to "the greater good" and then becomes something like Thanos just to get rid of them. A villian is often a hero from a different point of view.
Depends on whether they raised him right. Teach him to understand that to go that far is to be the threat he's supposed to stop, which he would kind of have to know if this concept is getting off the ground at all, and that shouldn't happen. It would basically look like if they got Vision the first try, and he did the whole "build an army of myself" that Ultron did. His mind is clearly humanlike enough to understand the difference.
He can prevent the Hulk roughly two ways. Destroy him, or take away any triggers. This version of Ultron would make all his calculations based on least amount of damage caused, peace and unity. Sure he can drag the Hulk to some desert fight him and cause aversion, or he can simply buy Bruce some books, a few bonsai, ship him off to a mountain village and call it a day. The hero version of Ultron would definitely choose the peaceful option
I see the only way this AU could get better is that Ultron, while he does evolve to be as strong as Thanos, he will also learn to become more and more human as well, reaching the ultimate extent of what it is to be human when he faces Thanos. Either he dies then or he keeps learning and goes on in the next phase of Marvel.
This video reminds me so much of the fanfiction called "Teaching Ultron". Ultron's genocidal intention was halted when a female OC intervened, understood what Ultron saw in humanity. Ultron's faith in humanity changed thanks to the female OC and he wanted lists from her to propose peace on Earth. Also, he develops a romantic relationship with the female OC.
@@mateothewizard7544 Don't worry, I already know about the seriously awesome version of Ultron who harnesses all 6 Infinity Stones, and threatens the multiverse itself. I'd say that they more than did this version justice.
Ultimate plot twist: Ultron uses the mind stone to discover the ultimate roots of all evil, violence, and crime of any sort, then when Thanos attacks, instead of dusting him and his army, Ultron snaps away those root causes. All evil is expunged from the entire universe, forever.
the problem with ultron is that he can snowball so fast with becoming evil, but if tony was actually able to keep ultron on track I'm super confident that thanos would be no problem
When he starts talking about Hulk being a threat it could technically be said about every avenger leading back to Ultron’s original though of killing the avengers to give peace to the world
To be fair though, if Ultron didn't go evil, it's possible that the Jarvis AI will still have some control and instead of a complete takeover of the Ultron persona they would split the logical mind, use two rather than one. This way Ultron can still have connection with his friends while also trying not to get too carried away with who he massacres
"could you imagine ultron building himself a body that will contain all six infinity stones" Me before 2021: Nope *Watches What If* Me now: Waaaiiittttt
CBR* (Can you imagine Utron building him self a body that will contain all 6 infinity stones?) Me 10 months later* oohhhh wait that what really happens
