I remember back then, when they were doing the casting for Guardians of the Galaxy, there was a running joke was that it seemed everyone in Hollywood was being cast in Guardians and James Gunn knew how to use all those characters. I guarantee you people like Mr. Terrific, Metamorpho, HawkGirl, Guy Gardner, and The Engineer will probably have the same screen time that John C. Riley, Glenn Close, and Sylvester Stallone had in the Guardians movies.

100%. Plus they haven’t even touched some of the 2003 material yet. Lots of great stuff in the Battle Nexus characters, Sh’Okanabo and the Dark Turtles from Fast Forward, and I’m shocked they haven’t done their own take on the Ninja Tribunal considering Tom Waltz big bad at issue 100 was a giant dragon demon.
What if it's like Luther has a monologue of how he hates superman and we see who has been inspired by superman. We see a newsclipping of Rex Mason, Luther calls the engineer, etc.

The 2012 - 2017 Nickelodeon Turtle shows has probably been my favourite adaptation of the Turtles on screen. Jason Aaron writing the turtles, well I'm not sure but hope it's good
I think for FFVII it can also just be a classic philosophical battle of free will vs. determinism, and then it plays with audience expectations as a secondary consequence to keep them guessing and give them a new experience, without saying fans are "the problem." Maybe I'm being too generous.
As a turtles fan I want them to push into new stories and new ways to tell the old stories. I fell of at issue 100 as well so if they just completely start over I wouldn’t be mad.

Here’s an idea that I think would be awesome for Turtles, do like what Marvel Shadowland’s did where Daredevil is the new leader of the Hand. Make it where something happens and Leo becomes the new Shredder and leader of the Foot and the other turtles have to fight an evil Leo.
The thing that makes what they're doing with the Final Fantasy 7 Remake stuff wild is that I believe most of the core staff is also working on these games as well, at least in a producing sense. The OG creators of 7 are overseeing a project that is essentially what every other Final Fantasy 7 game has been building up to. This game which came out in 1997 has built this multi decade spanning universe and somehow the same team that worked on the OG game are still alive and contributing to the 7 Remake project. Insanity.
I don’t understand why they pegged Miguel as the villain (slash audience) everything he has said has been right so far. It was proven in Spider-Man Indias world. Yeesh. When writers don’t follow their own logic.
yes TMNT TALK!!! love it! also never heard of the maxx, now im reading it/watching it and why havent I got it sooner in my life? never been marvel characters fan but I've been a fan of some of the movies, dc is for me the heroes. new transformers is great also. I think that people eventually will get tired but if you do new things and go all the way, I think people gonna like it. Like Batman vs TMNT shouldn't have happened but it is imo 1 of the greatest crossovers comic books. godzilla x justice league/dc is great as well. new superman villains is good. batman finally has a new villain for his set that isnt penguin/riddler/joker/bane/two face/croc. It just depends on the writer. I'm 1 of the only people probably that dont like IDW TMNT and only like the old brutal tmnt but at least it brought new things to the table and made them status quo. Even tho bebop and rocksteady were new additions for the kids show, they were great and everybody loves them. just need writers magic.

Phase 5 isn’t over and has been 50/50. Quantumania and The Marvels weren’t good along with Secret Invasion. What If and Echo were fine. GOTG Vol. 3 and Loki season 2 were great. We still have multiple shows left along with Deadpool 3 and Captain America: Brave New World which must have been terrible since they’re redoing it.

Captain America 4 isn't being redone from what I heard, it just got massively pushed back into the writing and acting strike But yeah Phase 5 isn't over yet And it's 50/50 at most, like Phase 2
@@mutalemwananshiku4098 No, it wasn’t good and had quite a few issues where you could tell the movie was hacked to death in the edit. The runtime wasn’t an issue and some of the best movies ever have a similar runtime.
@@DanV900 im not saying the marvels needed to be like 2 and a half hours just needed 10 more minutes to flesh out things partciculurly the villian. Just cause some movies can work with a short runtime doesnt mean everything can.
Yeah I would love them to reboot TMNT. I have seen the two first cartoons and some of the movies including the newest one which I feel was incredible and I would love to see a reboot where they are more that age at least to start with.

I remember him mentioning it several years ago. If I recall correctly, I think a friend made it for him. It's definitely a one of a kind and not something that was mass produced. There isn't really any Calvin and Hobbes merchandise.
A live action version of the Maxx might be interesting. Was never a big fan but id buy a ticket. Its gonna be in a crossover with another franchise probably.

@@jameskingman1227 Except Phase 2 and Phase 3 didn’t actually end with Avengers movies. Phase 2 ended with Ant-Man after Age of Ultron and then Far From Home ended Phase 3. However, at least an Avengers movie helped essentially set you up for the end of those phases where the phase endings now are completely arbitrary. I would agree that they don’t make sense.
That seems unfair for TMNT. the writing just isn't exciting, Jason Aaron might be able to turn that around. Having watched all the different variations of the turtles with my son i would rather see them press forward and try something new instead of rebooting
You know, nobody gives fans of say Charles dickens issues for saying, “that’s not the story”. Why do comic fans get maligned by directors and other writers trying to change stories. I get doing adaptions, but if you’re trying to say that major points of Spider-man iconography is nonsense and built off of nothing (which sometimes gives the most pure of stories) then why are you bothering to adapt it and why don’t you write your own character? Oh is that actually quite hard? And people don’t pay attention to you when you try to write from a blank page? Don’t blame us because we hold you to a high standard in story telling.
IMO, the moment IDW’s TMNT started to take a dive was after 100 when they killed Shredder and made Splinter the head of the Foot Clan. Not because either of those ideas is bad, but it’s obvious someone kept the writers from making Splinter do anything morally dubious (which cripples the whole concept), and nobody reined in Tom Waltz when he wanted to focus so much of the narrative on worldbuilding that he forgot to make his dumb Pantheon villains interesting. Sophie Campbell has done a great job refocusing the book back on the core family, but at this point the damage is done and I don’t think they could bring the readership back without bringing on a superstar writer like Jason Aaron. I’m cautiously optimistic, and I hope he doesn’t throw away all the cool stuff Sophie has brought into the lore (especially Venus and Jennika).
Ya know i really liked alot of phase 4. The closest things to straight up trash imo were the hawkeye finale, Love and thunder, and certain parts of Black widow but even those things aren't unwatchable(imo). Phase 5 started out big trash with one of the worst comic book movies of all time. Then that was followed by a grounded alien invasion show were one old man is supposed to stop 1 million super powered aliens without the help of a single super person bc he doesn't want to always rely on super people even though that was his whole thing and then he still ends up relying on a super person anyway. Seriously Secret invasion did nothing right and ruined Rhodey. What if was boring asf and then it continued the tradition of bad finales. Loki s2 was kinda mid until the last 2 episodes. They half-assed Echo's show and gave her dumb powers & i still haven't seen the marvels. The only thing that really happened in this phase was the og guardians broke up. We have dealt with 0 plot threads or characters from the previous phase and like 90% of phase 5 was actual ass and now its over. They literally killed the main antagonist with ants at the start of the phase and thought, "This is going to be a great year!"
