Hi sir could you explain the difference between a postgraduate diploma in prosthodontics/ endodontics and an actual masters in these subjects if one is only interested in clinical dentistry
Most clinical branches is the same, depending on what level your skill reaches and you can charge for it. Prostho, endo, oral surgery, pedo are at the same level. If you have good skill set.
Orthodontists are the highest paid amongst all branch in the middle east! Wrong information due to bias towards prostho! There is very few vacancies for prosthodontists in middle east and europe! They are not even allowed to do implants outside of india! Only oral surgeons and periodontist are allowed to perform implant procedure. To sum it all up there are only 2 fruitful branches endodontics and orthodontics! Im providing this information from real successful dental professionals outside of india and not based on my biasness.
1. I don't run a business 🙂. 2. In India all dentists are allowed to place implants. Again in Australia, USA and UK once trained even general dentists can place implants. Please mention countries where they cannot after being trained. 3. I am not a prosthodontist, I am a periodontist so no bias. 😄 4. Invisalign and other aligners let general dentists world wide treat orthodontic cases. 5. The video is a personal opinion we don't ask anyone to select an exact field. 🙂 Wish you well buddy 👍🏼
@@kaizendental you clearly have no knowledge about the dental practice outside of india! Dentists are not allowed to touch invisalign cases due to high litigation which im sure you haven’t heard about! Talking about aligners there are slim to none aligner companies that are successful outside of india due to high failure rates and the long treatment time. Aligner companies are rampant like a disease in india because of poor health regulation standards. The aligner companies in India are also starting to go out of business. Ive already mentioned middle east and europe do search it on google which countries are a part of them. Good day to you sir😃
To all the aspiring students preparing for pg entrance please search for jobs online as a dentist you will be schocked to know that almost 80% of the vacancies are for the post of orthodontists alone and rest followed by endodontists and pedodontists. Don’t be misguided by such vague information on such videos!
@@aqua_tv endo is the best branch for india, that way you’ll be able to independently run your clinic on your own! 90% cases are rct cases from complex to easy. Not only that veneers, re-rct, periapcal cysts treatment with apexification, crown preparation, teeth bleaching,and much more, and even if youplan on going outside of India you can easily get a job in Dubai, saudi, kuwait, and other middle eastern countries. These countries have a very strict medical protocol about rcts and other big endo procedures. Bds are only allowed to anterior teeth rct and they are not allowed to posterior teeth rct. Ortho is also good but you have to keep hustling for consultations and apart from that you can join an aligner company as a senior consultant for extra income. Ortho is great for people who want to settle outside of India as there is a very high demand in the middle east and european countries. After mds only ortho and endo have super specialisation degree that you can get from United Kingdom that is a very prestigious degree from the Royal college of surgeons namely M.endo and M.ortho. You just have to register for the exam and give 2 parts of written exam. If you are able to clear these exams your salary will be doubled in the middle east as they really value the royal college of uk there. This also opens the door for you to be specialist in uk. I hope this helps you and best of luck and always remember to do your own research instead of people misguiding you to follow your passion.
Most universities ask for BSc or MBBS graduates, some take in BDS graduates. You will have to check in individual universities where you plan to apply.

There is an extent you can get into plastic surgeries it's more on the face related to rehabilitation part. Problem is no exact delineation.. as people grow and are skilled they get more into it..
