I just installed this on my Springfield Hellion (VHS), it weighs 0.68 pounds, & is a thicc grip for big hands. I needed this grip because I'm 6'3" tall, & have big hands & the Hellion's trigger pulls so far backwards, that my trigger finger was bending inwards way too far before the trigger broke the wall. ...With this grip's ability to "adjust its length of pull," my finger is now hardly bending much at all to break the trigger - which is awesome! This is a huge upgrade for my hands & the Hellion
Might want to keep an eye on the slots in the grip post (used for fore and aft adjustment). When I received my ACC chassis system that included this grip, the screws would not fit through the slots and I had to open up with a file. Otherwise, great grip, very comfortable and the most adjustability of any grip on any of my rifles. Everything else feels completely weird once you get this dialed in.
We are glad to hear you are enjoying the grip! Could you please email our support team with some photos of the modification you had to do? The email is support@mdttac.com
do y'all make one with an adjustable length of trigger pull, for trigger finger placement? that will work with an AR-15. I have gorilla hands and need one that will move my hand back so my trigger finger will line up with the trigger better.
Ultimately it's up to you to decide that. The Elite has a rubber over-molding and the ability to adjust the angle as well. So if those are features that interest you, it's worth a look.
