its cool seeing the full process. Does it every get itchy underneath?

I had a hair system, like 92'. I still think caucasian hair works best; hairs blend better and they hairs can overlap over existing hair like feathers for a more natural look unlike course or Afro hair. But I'm seeing on RU-vid black hair stylists or barbers doing on scalp temporary custom units, and have to say... well, looks damn good. So I may have to take back what I said about caucasian hair systems. Now days, these units are probably much improved compared back when I had it. Oh, went the transplant route... had too many done in large span of time and still bald. Thinking of SMP(scalp micropigmentation); buzz cut look, and want it to also cover the surgery scar at back of head.

Great video buddy, have you tried putting tha adhesive on the unit insted of your scalp?I personally find this easier. Also it looks like youve increased your grey persentage? Think I need to do that on my next unit to be honest!!

I’ve been thinning for years, and being an actor/model, this has been such a huge weight on me. Not getting the parts I used to, among other things. A couple months ago I said screw it and shaved it all off. Even though everyone says look great shaved, I miss my hair. I ordered a system. Probably not the best, but it was cheap enough to try it out and see if I could live happily with it. Hope it works out, and if it does I’ll see if you have a recommendation on where to get a high quality hair replacement system. Thanks for the videos. Subbed.

I buy my hair piece direct from China and cut it style it and fit it myself I’ve worn it for two years and only once has someone asked me if I was wearing a “weave” as they put it! My close family even think it’s just clever extensions. They are an awful lot of work and no matter how I glue it down it never lasts more than ten days the hair growing underneath begins to itch ! Taking it off and removing the glue etc is horrible and brings a whole new meaning into “ sorry I can’t go out, I’m washing my hair” because it takes at least an hour to two hours! In the heat of summer I have to reglue twice a week! Bit it looks amazing I have a very young face for 50 nonlines or wrinkles due to facelifts and others non surgical stuff when I’m out most people think I’m around 30 and last week someone thought I was late 20s I don’t feel old either bit my hair was letting me down !

Videos like this make me glad I embraced the bald look. Too much hassle doing the “hair system” every month. Plus the worry of people noticing it’s a hair piece. I suppose it’s different strokes for different folks at the end of the day.

You may not realize this but you have definitely a lot of hair density on the sides and back of your head to get a hair transplant probably two sessions of hair transplants to have a full head of hair like you do and you were a toupee. I really thought of that option?

I try to be non judgemental but it seems pretty obvious to me that gluing these things to your head really cannot be good for your scalp long term. Deep down in the depths of his psyche, every bald man with a hairpiece loathes his natural appearance, whether he acknowledges it or not, and the makers of these things are just capitalizing on that insecurity. It's not like boob-jobs where it's basically fit and forget, it's a continuous source of income for the makers and fitters in the cost of new wigs and the near-continuous maintenance. Don't let them win. Embrace what you have, learn to love what what you really are, rather than fret over something you don't have while making someone else rich who's only capitalizing on your insecurity. You cannot find inner peace otherwise.
