Very interesting, I’m curious to see if the different yeasts affect the taste even slightly at the end, I’ve only ever used EC 1118 but now I’m interested in trying some others out
i think this is a cool series! this is one of those things where I go "wow, that looks fun" and will never end up doing; until one day I do end up going and doing it. When that comes, it will be so nice to know there is someone I trust who is able to break down all the info I need. Thank you again! Also, if you are selling things, I would link to ways to buy it in the description, just went there to browse but there is no link.
You can get a gallon kit for beer probably reasonably priced or check resale in your area for people getting out of the hobby. I used to home brew but havent touched my equipment in like 5 years lolol but got most of it second hand since I was in college at the time lol. This content for sure makes me want to try making mead. I thought it took way longer to ferment but think the aging lets it mellow out and flavors blend better.
Just tuning in for the first time but I love the weekly update method! I'm a total noob my equipment will be here Friday and I cant wait to to make my first batch!
I'd really appreciate an update. Also where do you ship your kits from? I'm in Wisconsin, we've got a large home brewing tradition here, but I don't want to just take your knowledge you're sharing. I'd like to support your business.
