Played this game three times now with my 8 year daughter. It's such a great game, and every card is so beautiful made. Now I have to try to get the promotion cards :D
I got this game for Christmas and can't wait to get it to the table. I am alread excited and waiting for the Downstream expansion here in the States! Thank you for the video and creating such a beautiful game!
What is the purpose of flipping the road token to hide the road symbol when using it with a landscape card? It doesn't seem necessary when you keep your road tokens separate until being used.
Enjoyed this vid! Game arrived today. Will rewatch this vid before breaking it out. I like the idea of not scoring the AI. The solo mechanics seem to work very well; a puzzle with multiple options. I’m looking forward to the game’s different visuals and puzzle play, as respite from my daily TMB and RollPlayer. I know your vid’s require Many hours of work, but could you Please make a another Meadow solo play-through vid? But show your tableau often. Liked hearing your thoughts when drafting cards, except no tableau to associate each turn. I enjoy your solo video on Meadow the most on YT, because of your perspective as a TMB fan. (And your good camera angles except for omitting the tableau). It’s fun to see and hear someone else’s perspective playing through solo games; you guys at the Co-op Shop seem to do it best (IMHO).
@@rebelstudiogames will do! I discovered that you are the same people who published K2 and Mount Everest. The coincidence is that I lend board games here in my area and just today someone wanted to try K2, which is in my collection. I'm still trying to find Mount Everest 😜
When playing an observation card with arrows the rulebook says if a card has multiple requirement symbols and only 1 of them has arrows you do not need to play that card beside the symbol with the arrows is this correct? Page 10 of the rulebook
Not the best rules explanation video. Needs a bit more context, what exactly is going on in the game, what do the different play areas represent? Also, examples for games like this are a must. Some of the rules were a bit tough to follow the first time round and would have benefited from an example of play. I found the Dice Tower review to be a better teach.
Thanks for your comment - we tried to create as much detailed and close to rulebook explanation video and in the same time make it short. We will make sure to incorporate your ideas next time!
