A good brand of Thai and Asian pastes is Mae Ploy, they're sold in Tubs and keep in the fridge for months. Hot Thai Kitchen on RU-vid does a lot of dishes. Good way to start is to cook off the paste with some coconut milk until the milk fats separate. ( Lidl's one is the best ). Don't shake the can before opening as the milk is thick at the top it's what you want. Add the rest of the milk and the chicken and cook. A good thing to add 5 mins before the end is green beans, shaved carrots or both.

Ive not had packet mash fir ages , ive got some in the cupboard, i bouggt it months ago thought be good as a stand by in case i ran put of potatoes!! I quite like paclet mash, you xcam really jazz it up with other flavours. I love a bowl of soup with mash potatoes at the bottom, soup on top!! Or am i just weird!!,😊 hope yout hospital appointment went well.

It was really good that she was happy to give it another go, and even better that she liked it 😊 It's not what I'd choose but my husband has real issues with mash and god forbid there should be a lump! 😂 You have to add salt and pepper and a fair amount of butter to that one to make it taste okay. @@Withinabudget I've got a potato ricer & that makes lovely mash, absolutely no lumps. Juat makes the mash so smooth & silky. But I dint mind normal mash, mashed with a potato masher but that's hard work!
