How wonderful that you were finally able to get a bag from M&S. Its a shame there seems to be such a disconnect between what the app is showing and what the stores are actually doing. They need to address that. Lovely that the store put the bag together for you and it really turned out to be a great value. It was great, I was waiting all day thinking that it was going to be cancelled, so I was really happy that it wasn't! The staff were really nice. Yes, I do agree with you, they need to decide if they want to partake in the app or not, as its a little frustrating how it is at the minute. I find these bags really fun to, you just never know what you are going to get! 😊
Now you know what the too good to go surprise is but the contents of the bag was worth the trip to the store👍 Welsh cakes just warmed are a nice arvo treat with a small slosh of jam 😊 Good video
Haha, yes! 😂 It was a good bag, and the value was well over what I was meant to receive! We all really liked the Welsh cakes, and as a plus, they froze and defrosted great 👍 😊
I love the bag itself from M&S. I thought it was great value. And I am sad right along with you that this is your first and last bag from them. When I was living in Nottingham for school, I bought my birthday cake from them as I could not find anything resembling an American Birthday cake. Their cake was delicious. I have always thought of Marks and Spencer as good quality.
Thank you! I thought it was great value also. I always buy their stuffing at Christmas, which my family loves, and their fresh chicken kievs are really nice also. I do feel like I'm happy to pay the extra on specific items that I know are worth the extra, but to do our weekly food shop with them, I just feel out priced. Maybe when the kids are older and we are back to only two mouths to feed, but at the minute with two teenagers who definitely like their food, I'm going to have to stick with what I know 😊
Sadly, that's the only M&S that we have 😮💨 I'll just check reserving them and hope I get lucky again! 😂🍀 It just seems bizarre to me that they are on the app if they have no intention of fulfilling orders 🤔🤯
Good bag you got there but they had no choice really but to maje sure you got a good 1 as you turned up for it. I wouldn't have been happy turning up to.then be told there wasn't 1 available!! M&S I just find the stuff is over priced/ over rated & not that great for the money but obviously onky paying £5 you did OK. I mean seriously who would pay nearly a fiver for thslat ham baguette!!! Some people do, obviously!!
Morrisons have sent me away empty handed before! I arrived, and they showed me an option on the app to say that the store had nothing to collect, so it issues you a refund, very annoying! There are definitely some things that we like from M&S (obviously all of that stuffing at Christmas 🎄 😉 🤣) and are willing to pay the extra for, but not for everything. It was a great bag for £5 😊
