Recitation of Shlokas or spiritual hymns is a common practice to invoke and pray the Gods and our Gurus. To get the full benefit of reciting a shloka, we need to remember three things: Reciting a shloka with the correct pronunciation, understanding the meaning of the shloka and reciting with devotion or Bhakthi. On the 351st Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Swami, we will learn the meaning of the popular shloka “Poojyaya Raghavendraya Satyadharma ratayacha. Bhajatam Kalpavrikshaya Namatam Kamadhenave”. Please recite the shloka everyday to receive the grace of God and Sri Raghavendra Swamiji.
