The ‘Open the door’ part sounds less like a psycho losing his mind, and more like a seductive siren telling you the ocean is perfectly safe. Very different vibe, but equally, if not more, terrifying.

This is so terrifying. Beautifully haunting. It's like the kind of voice that suits a very calm and brutal killer. JD comes forward. He let's you know he's crazy and mad, but here you need to figure it out for yourself. I mean that "Veronica. Veronica open the door please" It's so passive aggressive. Great job
I think JD is actually a sociopath. You see psychopaths are not able to build sincere relationships. If JD dated Veronica only to manipulate her in killing then ge would be a psychopath.
@@alicesshelter9719 I apologize if I am incorrect, but based off of my years of research, I do not think I am. A psychopath is simply a person who cannot feel remorse or empathy. They can love people. There are some psychopaths who cannot love people, but there are some who can. I believe that JD is a psychopath with the ability to love. The definition of a sociopath differs depending on your source, so JD may or may not be a sociopath. Plus, as he is a fictional character, we do not have all the resources to test JD to tell whether he is a sociopath or a psychopath, as we would if he was real. Therefore, as 'psychopath' is a more common word, I'd suggest we use that one as to not confuse people who are only fans of the musical and movie but really no nothing about neurological disorders.

I love this. Calm/quiet anger is so much scarier in my opinion, and I felt like this cover is the equivalent of that for this song. It just gives the song such an edge that makes me happy to see, and simultaneously terrified. AH ITS SO GOOD!

This is beautiful in the way that JD sounds way more manipulative. In the “VERONICA” it just sounds more menacing and threatening than any other cover. So, I've seen this before, awhile ago. But it popped back up in my reccomendations. I didn't know why - I hadn't been watching a lot of Heathers stuff, I've been mostly watching Starkid musicals. But as I was looking closer at the picture, I thought "she looks familiar," and I had no idea why until I looked at the channel name, which cleared everything right up.
