The 14th century head fisherman house of Meare pool. A Fishery set up to supply the Benedictine monks of Glastonbury Abbey. The Manor where the Abbott chilled out and. St.Mary church.
Iron age artifacts have been found here. Well worth a visit, lots to see. Adam of Sodbury (Abbot of Glastonbury 1323-1334) was instrumental in the set up of all these locations.
