PS: is a manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda, a female mangaka, there are some people saying at the time that manga written by women are not so appreciated by the public and many hide their name so as not to fall into "prejudice", they did not expect the series to be excited to animated. however it was, and it was very well received. she as so happy that he see the 2 first epsodes all time FOR 13 HOURS>
Also, it's worth noting that the animation is very faithful to the manga art style and many of the scenes, especially the more "graphic" ones are straight from the manga.
That's the thing I found out when diving into the world of manga, anime and vtubers, a lot of ecchi stuff is written AND drawn by women. And so far from what I've seen, they usually produce better 'quality' than their male counterparts. The Japanese, or at least those in anime culture, seem to have a more lax and casual take on sexual depictions in media.
@@kingofsapi man the amount of girls with ungodly amounts of porn they drew in their sketchbooks in my school was crazy. cooking up wattpad levels of perversion in middle school lmfao. i was friends with all the art kids so i saw ALL of it.
What sets the fan service apart from other shows for me is the clear awkwardness aspect to it. Because it’s mostly Gojo seeing it from his POV and he’s getting all flustered.
whene people where telling you that theres "a lot of fanservice" they usually are talking about this episode, so i know this is a little much for a lot of people that doesnt like this kind of stuff but at the very least in this case there´s a story reason for the echi scenes, so we can assure you fromo now on beyond the ocasional spicy scene this is full of wholesome romance and actually interesting lessons of how to be a cosplayer
Wait a minute... I never noticed that you had not seen my dress up darling all this time😂😂😂, was about time!!! This one will be a Really top Anime, and I can't wait to see your reaction to lots, AND LOTS of moments this story has🤩
The original Japanese title, literally translated, is "The Bisque Doll That Fell in Love" (その着せ替え人形は恋をする, Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru). I'm not sure why they felt the need to change it, honestly.
"着せ替え人形" means like dress/clothing "着せ" exchange "替え" doll "人形" so literally a dress up doll "Bisque" French word, but in Japanese sometimes people will give Kanji readings from other languages, so in this case you're supposed to read "着せ替え人形", which would normally be read "Kisekaeningyō" as "Bisque Doll". But it literally means "dress up doll," or like doll you can change the close of. I assume they changed the title in English to emphasize the "changing clothes" meaning which is implicit in the Kanji. (And also most English speakers have no idea what a Bisque doll even is - looking it up, apparently it's due to the fact that some people in England thought the skin kind of looked like a 'biscuit' ( i.e. 'cookie' in US English), and also it uses "Bisque clay" - Bisque is also a kind of French soup. Anyway, it's a pretty obscure word and more people would be familiar with the 'soup' meaning so it might not make a lot of sense to people without the kanji giving a definition like it does in Japanese)
14:41 What a lot of people don’t seem to fully understand is that it’s exaggerated intentionally to get a laugh out of the viewer. That’s as much the nature of most things with the “ecchi” tag in anime and manga. Think of it like a joke or an innuendo. The point is to make fun of something that might be viewed sexually in some cases, but they don’t always have to be. It all depends on how we see it. A perfectly timed shot to the crotch could get a huge laugh out of many, but it might bring up discomfort or trauma for others. That’s how jiggle-physics are. There are those who see how ridiculous it is and laugh, but there are also those who can’t separate the intention of the joke from how sexual such a thing from certain areas can be perceived.
Sexual things can be played for laughs AND fan service at the same time. Marin was used for the comedy of Gojo's reaction to her, as well as a source of titillation for the viewers.
Well, it serves two purposes both to get a laugh and also get people excited, because that also gets people really into the show. Look at all the nude and sex scenes in the original Game of Thrones show. Like, those clearly weren't meant to be comedic and it made the show super popular. There are also sexual scenes in this show that are meant to be "romantic" and as much of a joke. It seems like there are a lot of people now who for some reason who think any kind of sexuality on TV is "bad" but then they want to watch ecchi stuff for the "plot" and then come up with explanations for how blatantly sexual stuff isn't actually sexual, and it's kind of ridiculous.
1:48 Literally me giving the synopsis of several anime and manga to my girlfriend and she totally confused. Me: The story is about blah blah blah blah blah, this character blah blah blah blah blah My girlfriend: 😐(She in her head: It's a lot of information, everything is very complicated). Based on real events Me explaining the One Piece universe to her. In the end, she started to watch it and she is loving it so far. ❤
Normal teenager awkwardness/hormones is painful, huh? Is that period, or because we've all been there in some way/shape/form? If it's the latter, that's hardly worth calling it painful tbh, at least imo.
