People are gassing me for having no gloves. I always wear gloves, though this day was the only day I didn't. The cuts in the video are me either doing something uneventful or me washing my hands. I'm not unsanitary. Some people don't understand the food safety rules. If the product is precooked then you wear gloves 100 percent all the time, but for ground beef and beef in general its not necessary to wear gloves because it gets cooked by customer. Some people wear gloves and some people don't. Sorry if this makes you guys upset I always wear gloves with everything I do.
A lot of commenters think you should always wear gloves when handling food. But you’re 100% right. But also at restaurants or fast food your required to if you’ve got a cut.
Just thought of someone that went to restroom 70% of people don't wash there hands knowing they touched there ass or private areas or picked there nose bruh no wonder people get food poison or find a peace a hair in there food like bruh u guys are 100% true professionals can't wait to shop at ur store were u located? 🤣🤣
@@seekndstroy4423 it helps i dont have long hair lol. nah but my manager doesnt wear gloves and he has had no complaints by any health inspectors or management at all, if its precooked stuff absolutely but if its raw any germs usually get cooked off anyways. i agree 100 percent though, people are disgusting
People are gassing me for having no gloves. They haven't worked in ameat department and don't understand the food safety rules. I always wear gloves though this day was the only day I didn't
You don't need to wear glove to handle raw meat silly, only cooked. Now you missed he had the meat pan on the garage can. You would fail as a manager......lol
Watching this brings back good memories i worked at a grocery store as a bagger on slow days i used to volunteer time in the meat room helping with stocking and cleaning it definitely was a great experience the only not so fun part was getting soaked while cleaning and being cold.
Like I said... I always do. All the cuts in the video are literally me washing my hands after :-) IDK what you guys don't get about this. For cooked foods you always wear gloves, but with say a ribeye steak the butcher doesn't have to use gloves. While recommended you would be surprised how many people don't use gloves. You are literally cooking the meat so everything will be killed. Say you buy a whole ribeye and you cut it at home yourself. A lot of people don't use gloves, I get it's on a much bigger scale in stores, but it's kinda of the same thing. Besides all that I always wear gloves but this day I didn't. Sorry IDK what else to tell you
Such admirable work. Congratulations! Do you also have to attend to customers at the counter? Does your profession fall under the category of "Butcher Block Clerk?" I would be happy if you could reply, as I’ve been offered a position like that.🙏🏼
@@Mara16118 well I'm just a meat cutter, I cut, stock freight from the loads we get. The only time I go to the counter is when people have questions, or I need to bag some stuff up and weigh it but that's pretty much it. I've also done some managerial ordering as well
look at my other comments, not gonna keep repeating this bullshit. health department doesnt have a problem with how we operate, i wash my hands, do my shit and we follow guidelines outlined by the health department
(brother replying) yeah I go back there sometimes to mess with him and NGL Everytime he cuts meat with the machine it scares me too. His hands are so close to it and he does it fast so it's even more scary lol
How does Walmart not have those machines? That's crazy since they are richer than Safeway and they make so much more revenue. You'd think they would have them, at every store but like our store we have old shitty equipment from the 90's lol
I wash my hands bro, there's cuts in the video. Me walking in the door to the cooler, I cut the video because I was washing my hands. Should've left it in there but I didn't. I promise you, I'm sanitary. The manager does the same shit, no one has said anything to me about it
Das ist trotzdem kein Grund auf die geltenden hygienestandards zu scheissen ! das muss sofort den gesundheitsamt du den Arbeitgeber gemeldet werden und alles, was danach passiert, hast du dir selbst zuzuschreiben.
@@digoravas1986 its not bad. Simply because the ground beef gets cooked by the customer. With pre-cooked foods 100 percent I would be wearing gloves. I don't make it a habit either I always wear gloves always. Also, i wash my hands everytime i touch anything else.
