Review of contents, attachments, installation and how this meat grinder operates. This is the first time we've used this grinder and we thought it would be helpful to others to see it before anyone chooses to buy it for themselves.
I have the same grinder I got on sale for like 75$. have had it for a few years. I never really had an issue but it’s definitely false advertising. Says grinds 7 lbs a minute but usually I only get around like maybe 2 lbs a minute when really jamming it in there. Perfect grinder for small batches. But for grinding large batches after hunting season it really struggles. I recently grabbed a 1hp carnivore grinder so we will see if it was worth the price
I think you need to attach the grinder head before you add the the auger, cutting blade and grinding plate, to fit nicely. Don't assemble contents of the grinder head before attaching to the motor. . This looks like my Kitchener 2/3 hp unit. My instructions are to attach the grinder head empty, then attach the auger, then the blade, then the cutting plate. Hope it helps.
Hard french bread works the best to clean out the grinder. If your making burgers or meat balls add the bread to the mix with seasoning and water. It will keep the juicy. Great video.
