Sometimes we just have to let things go. Maybe a new buck will come into your life organically. And if not that's okay too. I'd love to see more about how you're caring for the chickens.

Your channel is my favorite rabbit channel, and I've learned so much from you! I'm planning on starting a colony on wood like you do. It would be so sad for your trustworthy line to die out! I live in Ohio and if your location would be drivable I would pay a good price to use your line to keep it alive. And if you wanted to do meat rabbits again I would happily give some to you some from their line so you wouldn't have to start over. We share the same ideals with stewardship and God's creation. I understand if you want to keep your two girls, but on the condition you could have them back once their children are strong enough on their own or could have some of their children, would you consider it?
