Meb Keflezighi runs  

So many emotions here listening to one of my favorite distance runner idols, and as a 49 year old athlete myself, who’s had the privilege to run 8 sub 3hr marathons out of my 15 total marathons with a few Bostons to add, breaking 2:50 in a couple of those as a big breakthrough PR for me. The fact that Meb has never in his running career even on a bad race day ever came close to finishing a marathon at the 3 hour mark or slower, shows at his age now he’s accepted that he had his time as a pro runner( something I never experienced), but came to terms that he still enjoys running and has nothing more to prove other than just being able to run. I love this as it inspires me to run another marathon again. God bless you Meb and thank you for the inspiration.

Good job calling out Rojo and his alleged future sub-3. If Meb isn't close - and he's been running - Rojo's 1 mile annually ain't doing it.
