@@MechArenaOfficial I also use that technique with Juggernaut and Disc Launcher 8s, he's unbeatable with it, i even killed dozens of Real Player's Ares' with Disc Launcher 8s by using this technique, i can even hit an Ares even when he has face shield ON, just aim at at near corner without locking, and BOOOOM!

That's the actual advantage of DLs

PLUS, it isn't even required to have the enemy in radar, if you know there's enemy just shoot and boom you see a red skull

For javs, the rockets always chase my surge when it’s dashing, like when did the javs’ guiding system get this good to chase down targets horizontally

the fact you can shoot without a lock means that you can shoot shadow and eclipse when they use their abilities, something javelin racks can't do

But if u can last through the magazine(Jugs, Ares, Brickhouse) you can release your own onslaught. Cuz the weapons are so demanding for speedy mechs, the mechs usually have lower HP, so taking them down is pretty easy. Also using your surroundings to your advantage can help. I usually go with a sacrifice mech approach, if I have a lower HP mech or I have taken a few hits and my team mates are nearby, I usually get close and gather all the attention so the opponents run out of ammo which allows my teammates to wrap them up quickly. In my opinion, sacrificing a damaged mech or a Killshot/Tengu/Stalker (And taking out at least 40-50% of their HP) is much better than letting the opponent take out ally Jugs/Ares/Panthers. Another way to combat them is to stand near corners with Zephyrs(Loaded with MR8s), lure them into the 30m range(To use the EMP Effect), and blast them into oblivion.

The last one counters pretty much anything 😑

Also disc launchers don't have long cd especially with pilot and implant

That is a matter of timing. If you are apt at jumping in the right moment, your Lancer is quite invulnerable against enemy Javelins.

@@swashbukk lah makes it essentially impossible to do it consistently though

Tbh they’re not really cons. The lock range actually may be a blessing in disguise. Without a lock you can do splash damage much easier.

You can try and move backwards to 60m, or wait for the enemy to hide itself, then you can do splash damage easily

Uhhh ok…… that’s pretty insane is you ask me but it’s also super strong.

I have an almost maxed lancer. Tier 6, level 5, with JR 8 and 6, and Rosa maxed with range and damage maxed implants. My mech got 91k life. All of that in free to play. Of course, its my best mech

Also in addition to light mechs. A couple of other mechs can technically prove an edge to the gap. Panthers kinda count in because you can activate your stasis barrier to block the shots by stepping in. Paragons (specifically rank 3) are also good mechs because although they are not as fast as killshot and shadow (surge included) they are able to carry the medium powerhouses to the match. (Zephyr probably fits because you can emp your target if the enemy gets too close allowing you to get away from them, reload and try again.) Ares are also good for jav racks because of their signature sheild able to tank up damage during your jav racks fire and reload. And last but not least ,my favorite one, (which is my personal fav mech) Stalkers also do good for jav rack platforms because of predator drive, 2xing the damage to another mech while in it while effecting you at the same time if you manage to mess up.
