@@WSVAD Okay smart guy. Change it in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night because it broke down. I always recommend the best quality parts to my customers and that's why I'm still in business.
@@WSVAD Firstly I'm not showing off. I'm stating a fact about the quality of the parts I prefer to use. As far as your work going for hundreds of thousands of what exactly? You're the one trying to show off by saying what you make..... Or claim to make. I'd expect nothing less from the only people on earth who're considered to be more ignorant than Americans. By all means keep using your imagination in the comment section. It lets everyone know exactly what type of person you are.
Nice job, a little grease on the collets or valve make the them just stick in place, making it easier and quicker. Also a drop of oil on the valve stem for the seal is a good idea. Great work. 🙂👍
Also saw a vid the other day of someone taking a single-ended spammer wrench that had a head/profile just smaller than the diameter of the valve collet. Anyways he takes a clear cutting of plastic, under the wrench profile and above the collet, and he just pushes down and the plastic tears a small whole from the tip of the valve stem and the plastic just pushes the valve locks (keepers) pushed right down into the collet and locked into place. Hope that ever helps 😊🤙
Assembly lube!!!!! If I have to tell another one of you fools that I'm going to come over there and teach you all how to repair vehicles. It seems like you can use some decent mechanics. Maybe when you can design a reliable vehicle I'll take you all seriously.
@@gravyd316 it works. There's any trouble in all the reparings I've made. When you don't have the correct grease you can use chasis grease in not lubricated areas
@@angelicgoon5252 Agreed, but he never fully let off the pressure, you can see he's only letting up enough to hold it there. I've had to use a trick like this on a Honda GL1800 when a customer didn't want to pay for taking the head off the unit to replace leaking valve guide seals. The thing was to have everything ready and once you start you can't let the pressure off without removing the keeper. Helps that most powersports only have one retainer slot, let off to much pressure and it just shoots pops right out.
just make sure you use the ones with a metal base and not these horrible full silicon ones. VSS are cheap already so trying to save on these is only going to lead to issues later on(if not instantly)
Is that ohv engine? I have worked on these engines on car mechanic simulator especially old cars. I am assuming these springs are called rockers or rocker arms

HE SHOULD HAVE OILED THOSE VALVE STEM OILSEALS TO STOP THEM BEING DAMAGED WHEN. INSTALLING ,EVEN SOMEONE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING,GET IT WRONG
