Honestly thought this was a KO of the 3A Soundwave from the thumbnail. He looks rad as hell, and that Ravage looks leagues better than the 3A version imo.

I think his alt mode is an anti-grav APC: I can imagine the tape deck door/ramp lowering and all his mini-cons pouring out for assaults. In the Bumblebee 2018 film, Soundwave was pretty much leading that final deception push, so being a troop transport makes some sense. A pity he doesn’t turn into a Bluetooth speaker, an alt mode for the modern era :P

Thats actually a good way of looking at it! Sometimes we see him in cassette or as some sort of jeep with a gun. But that's a very good idea for him! Nice work

What batteries does he need for his head and blaster?

LR41 Hi, I have the MA Wasp Warrior, made by the same people I think, and he (and my Aoyi Optimus) use two LR41 batteries, so that might be a good guess? I have Thunder Warrior coming, and will check if they are the same. If they are, I think it will be a safe bet.

Scalewise i think he is too big… so i settled for the Studio Series 23 @£23 😂… i wanted him to match the New Age Soundwave height and is just right for my OS and HA scaling scheme of things

I'd assume it's something they would think soundwave would possibly turn into. Personally I kinda like it reminds me of a more Cybertron mode like bulky and a bit of a simplistic shape it does look a bit silly though but that kinda grew on me

Seen some people moaning about this I think it looks great. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the lack of detail of the mouth.

I'm still leaning towards the ThreeZero version myself. Something about this feels off to me, I think it's the insane thigh gap. Plus the rather phoned-in alt mode isn't really convincing me anyway lol.

He never turned into a radio. His original G1 version transformed into a portable micro-cassette player. It was only his (diaclone) toy version that included an AM radio.
